As of the update on 06.11.2024, I'm quite frustrated to learn that the new IHU in the PROTON X70 only includes Apple CarPlay, with no QD Link and continued uncertainty around when Android Auto will be implemented. This situation is disappointing, especially considering how essential these functionalities are for seamless smartphone integration. The advertisement suggesting these features is somewhat misleading. For Android users, it seems the only solution is to change phones. While I appreciate the customer service team's efforts, I hope PROTON can prioritize bringing these features to their vehicles to meet the expectations set by their earlier models and current automotive standards.
@@garrbunn I think, this will only come with the refresh of the model. The royalty that car makers pay to Apple per car model is quite high so the car companies will want a return of investment on the model first before a refresh. S70 was just launched last year so I would guess Proton may give that upgrade at least when they do a minor refresh in a couple of years
tq for the reply. I ve been looking for info and really cant predict when (months or years) it will be add to S70, and that makes the choice harder (because only toyota & honda) choice left now for Sedan. Again tq for the info & reply.

How about x90 did it get the update for apple carplay?
@@1983amaro No. The license given is only for the 2025 onwards X70. Approval is per model not blanket as it costs mucho money for the license.
when will be in S70..?.
