Orcky Kat I would say Rickys live vocals are almost on par, if not better than Chris's, but a frontman is such a critical part of a metal band that we still need chris anyway, and I dont know if Ricky can scream either.

Met MIW in Worcester with my daughter and she was responsible for me becoming a fan the meeting made it even better I’m in my 50s , band was impressed by me! I grew up on Metallica and maiden. Great talented young band !

Meanwhile, we are pleased to announce that filling Justin’s shoes will be ex-Venetia Fair member pianist/vocalist, Joe Occhiuti, who co-wrote some of ‘The Silver Scream’ and who has been a part of the extended INK family for many years. Joe brings with him an extensive multi instrument musical background and will not only be taking over bass duties, but will be contributing keys and back-up vocals, breathing even more insanity into the INK live show. Is there a sound issue with the mic? Like it doesnt match up w the rest of the music... Man he's so cool! This is my 1st metal band introduction, I started feeling intimidated by maybe even had slight judgement on the idea of goth n appearance but ended up starting to love this quality band and loose that "scary" picture of him in makeup n thats bcuz how he is as a person in interviews etc soft spoken n humble n also funny. Something I haven't felt abt other metal bands ... I think. Or maybe they r too.. but their dark appearance overshadows it over approaching. Something abt this band n chris that kept me listening to their stuff.. lyrics on disguise album are soooo good!! Its embarassing in comparison with mainstream pop songs on charts or worse tekashis garbage rap that has over 200millions views in 2weeks 😑
It's very compressed is all. It's really quiet when there's not a lot of noise (when they aren't playing, or when it's just Ryan on that main chug) but when all 5 come in together, the sound gets compressed down to keep the audio level.

From 80s stuff like synth rock (The Cure, Morrissey) to industrial metal (NIN Marilyn Manson) to black metal (Cradle of Filth)to House techno and everything in between. Bands like MCR and A7X used to be goth but it's not because of their music. It's the Fashion. If what you said was true (it's the music) then ALL metalcore bands would be gothic. Name another metalcore band that is Goth according to your ideal on what Goth is? And I'm not talking about having long hair and wearing all black..I'm talking GOTH. I'll wait for your rebuttal.

Ricky's voice is angelic, but Chris has the rasp and metalness that compliments the rest of the band very well. This combo is very god tier imo.
