@@burgggie had the SDC and now I have the Krause. First thing is that neither are cushy. Both are like a hard mattress that needs to grow on you. If you are a large person, the Krause is even narrower than the SDC. The groove up the middle will cool your nuts but is also a channel for any rain. The SDC adjustable back irritated me as I ride with full back protection. In the low setting, it caught the bottom of the protector and higher settings added a pressure point through through the protector’s non giving construction. The Krause puts you about the same height but a bit closer. I prefer the look of the Krause as it’s a cleaner look

I hope you are going to be as happy as I am! One thing to remember is that the sun will heat up the gel and it will hold the heat. I put a towel over it and that really helps. Good luck and enjoy!
