    I must begin by saying that Blitz is my favorite style of chess play.
    Next, I must say that there is some great lip action in the center back at 5:08

    Wow. I actually thought Svindler was ahead. Then came the Queen exchange with the massacre afterwards and he just lost. Shows what I know I guess.

    anyone else notice svidler's impulse of placing the kings in the center after the shake? i wonder what thats about...

      That's not just an impulse, it's a tradition and a common courtesy among chess players, in order to make it easier for the arbiters to know the outcome of the match from distance. Both Kings on white squares - white won ; both Kings on black squares - black won ; every King on its own square - draw.
