Honestly the reason I love your videos so much is just because you show it's possible to simply get along with other species without absolutely having to kill one another when there's no need. Something I find 99% of Isle players just can't seem to grasp and they always assume that not killing things on sight or mindlessly slaughtering other players even when there's an abundance of food automatically equates to mixpacking.
@@Some1-2 I still remember when the Pachy vs Utah matchup was somewhat even, both would get punished for missing and both would get rewarded for hitting. Now Pachy still gets punished for missing, but Utahs can span the pounce as much as they want to.
Istg my Cera life is just as cursed. Yesterday… 60% growth, filled my perfect diet again, needed water, started dying of thirst but it was fine! 80% health and like 20 meters to water! Boom broke my legs over a tiny hill, 5% health, arrived at the water, started my drink animation and DIED 🤗
that and the broken hitboxes make it easy af to hit things. I've killed with and been killed by carno charges that absolutely did not make contact lmao. I think the increase in carno's size in the next update will help.

There big time ambushers abuse that speed and ram then finish things off with your mass and sterenght after 2/3 charges, omni is the only one where you actaully havve too watch out. Gotta spot them before you spot them. Also gotta use that amazing trot its the second fastest in the game.
@@evolf9910 yeah carno is far less about skill sinds the last update its more about experience and making sure your almost always at a advantage, if you hunt or are in combat you wanna destroy whatever you fighting in less then a minute and if that doesnt worm drag the fight as long as possible till they make mistakes or get impatient you be fine then. Make use of bushes too. There ya go

Carno is not hard at all, teno is still the hardest (and rewarding) also next update carno will be again the easiest playable as it will be able to charge the second it stars running
They need to fix that damn head charge, I still get full damage when a carno touches the tip of my tail, and that shouldn't be possible. Another is, they should be forced to charge up that head butt like the dryo. Because even a 5 yr old could play a carno and do what most players did to catch their pray. I mean they nuked the tenos tail slam.
Carno is easily one of the most difficult creatures to play this update it’s unable to hunt small tier animals reliably while it’s charge taking a ton of stamina away now so you either hit it or don’t even try to fight something, raptor packs melt you now because they can’t be punished by missing unless you throw your face into a rock, your diet list is very limited meaning you’ll have a higher chance of starving to death, they are no longer cannibal so even less things to eat now, still takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to grow even with perfect diet So no…carno is not easy now Unless you’re in a group then you just destroy anything similar to your size

Just spawn NW, head north of raptor rock near the forest and hunt deer/boars then just afk grow. No point struggling against other small prey for 50% speed as there's a 20 minute difference between 30% and 50%
I think your bigger packmate about 3:50 in the video mightve been hacking, they were alt biting before the animation was even done at lightning speed (or maybe lag idk if theres a speed alt hack)

It feels that anyone in Evrima is super easy now. Carno is basically untouchable, before other carnos could eat you, now they are not interested. You should avoid crocs and falling. Growth is simple, deers+hogs. Nobody can hunt you on open plains, you are simply faster. In 6.5 carno gameplay become more passive. At 6 you was unstoppable cannibalistic brute on land, now you are fragile AI hunter who can opportunistically hunt unprepared players. If you are tring to facetank ceras or tenos without them been unprepared, you are doing something wrong. You you should play more like an assassin, not like a barbarian as it was before.
Because everything wants to kill you and even when you're full grown you're not an apex because the development team has allowed steggo to be the apex without a carnivore counterpart to fight it for over 4 years. Which mean even if you kill something they can body guard.
Cause food is scarcely not rotten most deer an shit dont fill you much. An most players are legit mix packing. Or they are just all crocs an stegosaurus
The Isle was my first dino game survival I've ever played (back in like 2016) but after Legacy kinda died and Evrima is still unfinished I switched to Path of Titans where I found bunch of cool servers with rules and simple way of reporting players who breaks the rules on server. I really hope that Evrima will have someday recording system like in Legacy where u can see player data and they can be striked/warned or simply banned for being toxic as f or whatever. I got the game a few days ago after seeing videos on it. I thought the carno and raptor would be fun so I played those two. My experience was exactly like the first part of the video, except for hours on end, no matter which server I went on. I ended up refunding it this morning
aw dang, its pretty fun if you can make it too adulthood. I would recommend raptor being the most fun to play! The interactions with players and fights are really worth it in the end. You could try 1v1 servers to practice fighting too if you ever want to rebuy it. I would give it another chance especially once the new update comes out. It looks amazing. 7.0 gateway update its crazy
Well, i assume that you played less than 3 hours to get a refund, the isle is a game that you need A LOT of time to get "good" for instance, i have 1250 hours on It and i still get stomped by everyone else. But If you played more than 3 hours and Will not get the refund i'll say something to improve your gameplay, Learn from your deaths, like It may sound dumb but It really Works, dont be shy to run away Its a survival game, not an only PvP game, the scent is your biggest Ally to find food, use forests as cover to avoid large groups and mixpackers, pratice with AI. I Hope that i helped to improve your gameplay (assuming that you didnt get the refund of course)

Besides from the first few minutes I took tweaking the settings the rest was getting stomped as various dinos. The thing that annoyed me the most is that I was always a new baby and huge dinos that get no benefit to killing me chase me down and kill me before just leaving. Like what the fuck. Just personally gonna wait for it to go on sale

It seems to me that Karno was created to kill Cerato. Cerato was created to kill raths. Rathors are designed to kill Carnot. P.S. As an adult Karno, I was never killed by another player - I either fell off a cliff or starved to death. stuck in textures.

Carno just needs to skid longer when attempting to turn while running, all of this balance nonsense going on with it is so unnecessary

Pretty sure carnos trot is one of the slower in the game, omni cera AND teno all outpace it in trot speed from what I can see

thats a bug you can do in spiro branch by turning off manual alt and then spaming the alt and bite buttons(its very broken)
