I am a DM for a family group currently playing Pathfinder 2e. I want to do a small campaign between adventures as a break and base it on an old video game, Diablo; Which is oppressively dark and gritty. The setting will be in Golarion during the Age of Darkness. I'm debating on overlaying this over Pathfinder or running it on its own, (or if there is another system for an old, dark-style RPG).
This and/or Shadowdark might be what close to what you're looking for. They can go together quite well, but they are not nearly as crunchy as any edition Pathfinder. You might also consider Symbaroum, but for as much as the atmosphere might fit what you're looking for, it might require a lot of rules conversion.
As the rules amount to less than 10 pages, going more in-depth would consist of simply reading the rule set verbatim. I'm sorry this review didn't provide what you were looking for; fortunately other overviews of Deathbringer exist. You can also use the link in the video or description to visit the Dungeoncraft channel for firsthand information about the game.
Looking forward to a full Deathbringer release.... because I'm a sucker for books lol
I'm interested to see what all the full rule set will entail.
Good video, concise
Thank you. It's a concise game, so it needs a concise overview.
DEATHBRINGER! I've been looking up Deathbringer reviews and this one hadn't popped up until now.
I hope you was useful to you no matter when it showed up.
Thanks for the break down on Deathbringer. I’m buying it now. 😊
You're welcome. I hope you enjoy it.

You didn't give any specifics.
