I am relatively and generally consistently observant, and have noticed that this music video was filmed on location, in the city of Bristol, UK, where I live and have made my home since 1999. Firstly I notice the statement (next to big mosaic covered bear you can't see) at The Bear Pit, stating "Knowledge Is Power", and of course it is also the place, that last year, a terrible tragedy struck upon humble homeless "Punk Paul" of 50 years, who died from smoking synthetic drug spice in joint form, which was around near this time last year. I met him briefly and he was pleasant, like they say. Hopefully the SPICE EPIDEMIC will eventually go away, and The Bearpit will become a safehaven, (rather than a death zone for the needy drug dependent homeless) who knows... Maybe Market Traders will feel safe to trade there once again. I met Punk Paul briefly while on road, travelling the streets and grasslands.... I never though he would be so foolish to take that muredering substance known as "spice", and for that matter who knows the real truth? He was with friends at the time of his death, I guess nobody had given him a fizzy sweet drink to boost him up, but nobody is generally prepared for death.... All I know is that there is now a brass plaque, which serves to honour his memory, coupled with some posters (and if ever ignorantly defaced, then hopefully it will be rapidly replaced by the "People's Republic Of Stokes Croft"). This reggae music is truly great, especially in helping us to remember aspects of positive re-education of values, ethics, morals, combined with that of One Universal Love - Zero Segregation - One Human Race - One Blood. "RELENTLESS OPTIMISM" = "ABSOLUTE JOY AND HAPPINESS". :) RESPECT EARNS RESPECT - JAH LOVE - BLESS UP FAITH IN RIGHTEOUS LOVE. GOOD ALWAYS BEATS ALL EVIL. But HIM is the lion of judah, who loosened the 7 seals! :D And one of the revelations we have grown to overstand, is that our body is the true temple of JAH, and that we should work every waking moment to cleanse the temple, and personify the word of YAHWH of the holy bible :) So Rasta is a faith, but since the search for truth comes directly from the bible, not a priest or rabbi, rasta remains more of a livity than an organized religion. But we true rasta recognize the sanctity of that original Ethiopian orthodox/Catholic churches, before they were invaded by babylon. Hope this helps and stay blessed.
