One thing I really like about Mafuyu’s new outfit is how the shirt is half-tucked in. It’s a subtle way of showing how she’s slowly breaking away from her ‘perfect, good girl’ image after she ran away from home.
I also like how you could tell that Mafuyu's old outfit was either what her mother told her to wear or what Mafuyu thought her mother would want her to wear.

The green somewhat compliments the pink from her eyes and hair (Yes her eyes and hair are shades of pink) in terms of color theory but when you think about her personality, it feels random. I've noticed that most of the new outfits seem to look better on their own but not really suit the character it's on.
I don't think it feels random at all. From what i can remember, green is the compliment color of pink on the color wheel. It's not the same color but same direction. Meaning that even though Ena has change, she is still Ena who wanted to become an artist. Her old outfit give up cute social media girl vibe which is pretty fitting for her character back then. Her title in the game is "Social media addict Artist" making her old outfit even more perfect. The new outfit tell us about Ena that finally make out her mind to become a professional artist with its more formal looks. It less attention seeking and more professional looking, which fits her current character soo well. It didn't fit her title anymore as an social media person, but it fits her newest character story😄

I really only disagree with Ena's placement. I agree with basically everything else. Although, I don't really know a lot about fashion. I actually prefer Ena's new outfit to her old one. Not that I dislike it, I actually really like it. But the reason I prefer the newer one is because I see Ena's old outfit as "not really Ena" To me, her old outfit represents the Ena who is obsessed with taking selfies and is trying to get attention from them since she isn't getting it from her art. I feel like it's supposed to look cuter because it was made for her selfies that she posts online. Her new outfit on the other hand feels much more aligned with the true Ena. The kinds of selfies she'd be taking with this outfit would be for fun instead of to post online. I can't explain it, but I find that her kind nature and maturity is felt in the vibes of her new outfit while still being pretty. So to me, Ena's old outfit is the "popular girl" outfit while her new one makes her feel a lot more like someone more reliable. They're very different, but also very representative of Ena at two different times in her arc. Also side note, I never realized that the Shinonomes wore different seasonal colors in their outfits. That's kind of funny, but also kind of cute (best siblings fr). Can you tell that Ena is my favorite character?

waaah! I so love your design comment videos! They're so chill and fun and you point out really cool and interesting things which I might not have noticed myself! Overall, yeah I love a lot of these designs. I really do wonder how long skirts came back into fashion suddenly - and for multiple people! I know I once jokingly said Shizuku should get some green to distinguish her from Haruka's blue... but this dress kinda looks sad lol. Idk - the color just doesn't seem to wonderhoy lol. Nene/Shiho can rock this muted green color but for Shizuku it just feels sad. An's always been good with fashion so I love that! Mafuyu also looks so impressive here! I really like the WXS team because the friends who stay together also coordinate well together - like somehow they all just go well together too! (Though I do prefer Nene's older one with the shorter skirt lol - still amazing!)

Those long straight skirts on girls are cute and they would look good irl, when you would see how they move around. Which is why they're not working in the game, were characters are flat 2d and barely moving. New looks are (mostly!) definitely more 'normal', like something one could actually buy, but that's not very good design choice

I actually really love both of Mafuyu's outfits; her original is something I would wear when staying inside or going to bed and as for her new one, well I would wear that in public. Also Toya and Shizuku are my favorite characters and their new designs are okay but, Shizuku's especially, kind of feels like a downgrade. Oh, Ichika finally looks good now. Like she belongs in a society and not like she is romping around a woodland cabin. Shizuki certainly looks more modest and motherly now. Eh, Toya somehow looks...younger now? Not a fan, but it doesn't look bad on him either. Just doesn't fit the "we are all learning, growing and maturing and thus are showing that with less childish outfits" vibe that they were aiming for. Saki is...odd. It defies her personality and style. Ena's designs are both fine. OH GROSS. Frick, Mizuki always looked like crap. But that is SO much pink. Too much. Somehow even more sh** than before. If I could, I would PAY the devs to just throw this into a fire and never show it again. Akito looks LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than Mizuki's weird overall pants. Hm, Kohane's doesn't even suit her. That color does NOT complement her hair or face. Kanade is fine. Minority looks good! It looks good on her, and more mature. Emu looks like she is in gym class or at the park. It's fine, looks good on her, but just doesn't feel as perfect a representation of her personality as the old one, and still doesn't make her seem any more mature. OH FU** NO! LOOK HOW THEY MASSACRED THE CHAOTIC GOOD BOY! Rui looks like dogsh** now. He looks like he lives on a small tropical island and he is wearing his grandpa's hand-me-downs. His old design was perfect. It was chaotic, whimsical, and actually looked GOOD on him. He had the same blue as his hair for the undershirt, and a green that blended well with the blue and the orange and salmon blended well with the green and blue. The shirt he used to wear was a nice mix of quirky and modern/stylish. But this new one? This belongs in the trash. It's 1 step up from Mizuki, but just barely. Clearly he let that horrible fashion sense kid take him shopping and pick out his new outfit. Both of Nene's are fine. They both look good on her. Oh, great, Tsukasa also looks like he has been made younger. That outfit is doing the opposite of making him look more mature, the old one was better. The old one had a nice modern chic button up shirt and black pants that made him look like the more mature older teen. While the fish jacket gave just a touch of whimsy yet still blended with the rest of it to look well put together. This new outfit looks like his parents dressed him, like he is a child. Bad bad bad. Shiho's is...fine? None of the colors look GOOD on her, but the style of the outfit fits her personality. The old green hoodie was better though, that fit her personality/style AND was a color that looked good on her. Hmm, Mafuyu went from looking soft, approachable and almost motherly, to stern tired aunt. Not a fan, but it isn't bad, it does make her look more powerful and mature, like a business woman. But if she is still trying to be a doctor, then softer more approachable look is better for her. If she has decided to drop that and pursue something else, then the new one is fine. Oh no! An! My favorite girl!!! They have ruined you! Now she just looks like nothing. Her old look really showed where she came from and her pride in her town. This look doesn't pop, it doesn't flatter her form, and it doesn't even make her look more mature! It's a total downgrade. At least her stage outfit DOES look more mature and still looks good on her. This casual crap though just looks like she grabbed the first shirt she touched and her favorite worn out (probably not washed in multiple days) jeans to go with it. Oh. Ew. Haruka looks even worse than An. She looks...kinda like a slightly feminine faced boy who is trying ro dress like a girl? And that orange is NOT working for her. I know orange and blue are used commonly together, but she needs something in her hair to make that orange work, or her shoes need to have the same orange to pull it all together. And even then the color just doesn't mesh well with her face or hair. Something about my poor Honami just isn't right either. It looks almost, I dunno, Indian? Not Japanese on her. She seems less motherly and more professional, like a babysitter or manager. At least the colors work on her. All in all, thanks devs, I hate it. I hope they give us the option to stick with the old outfits if we want to, because BOY would I keep all the old ones in a heartbeat. Tsukasa, Toya, Akito, and An are my favorite of the kids, and they all look better in their old fits. Rui is somewhere up there too and looks perfect in his old casual wear, and dog doo in his new one.

And I have loved Vocaloid for like 11 years and played all the Mirai and Diva games and immediately jumped on Sekai when it finally came out. I really only disagree with Ena's placement. I agree with basically everything else. Although, I don't really know a lot about fashion.
I actually prefer Ena's new outfit to her old one. Not that I dislike it, I actually really like it. But the reason I prefer the newer one is because I see Ena's old outfit as "not really Ena" To me, her old outfit represents the Ena who is obsessed with taking selfies and is trying to get attention from them since she isn't getting it from her art. I feel like it's supposed to look cuter because it was made for her selfies that she posts online.
Her new outfit on the other hand feels much more aligned with the true Ena. The kinds of selfies she'd be taking with this outfit would be for fun instead of to post online. I can't explain it, but I find that her kind nature and maturity is felt in the vibes of her new outfit while still being pretty.
So to me, Ena's old outfit is the "popular girl" outfit while her new one makes her feel a lot more like someone more reliable. They're very different, but also very representative of Ena at two different times in her arc.
Also side note, I never realized that the Shinonomes wore different seasonal colors in their outfits. That's kind of funny, but also kind of cute (best siblings fr).

Overall, yeah I love a lot of these designs. I really do wonder how long skirts came back into fashion suddenly - and for multiple people! I know I once jokingly said Shizuku should get some green to distinguish her from Haruka's blue... but this dress kinda looks sad lol. Idk - the color just doesn't seem to wonderhoy lol. Nene/Shiho can rock this muted green color but for Shizuku it just feels sad.
An's always been good with fashion so I love that! Mafuyu also looks so impressive here! I really like the WXS team because the friends who stay together also coordinate well together - like somehow they all just go well together too! (Though I do prefer Nene's older one with the shorter skirt lol - still amazing!)

Those long straight skirts on girls are cute and they would look good irl, when you would see how they move around. Which is why they're not working in the game, were characters are flat 2d and barely moving. New looks are (mostly!) definitely more 'normal', like something one could actually buy, but that's not very good design choice

I actually really love both of Mafuyu's outfits; her original is something I would wear when staying inside or going to bed and as for her new one, well I would wear that in public. Also Toya and Shizuku are my favorite characters and their new designs are okay but, Shizuku's especially, kind of feels like a downgrade. Like, Toya's new one is just kinda ehh and Shizuku's old outfit was just soo pretty. Side note I really love your voice, it's got a more baritone vibe to it that I find very pleasant to listen to. Anyways that was fun thanks for making this!

Akito looks LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than Mizuki's weird overall pants. Yeah, he doesn't look as iconic, but that is the point, he is maturing and thus not trying so loudly and hard to stand out. He understands the importance of patience and taking a supporting roll now.

Emu looks like she is in gym class or at the park. It's fine, looks good on her, but just doesn't feel as perfect a representation of her personality as the old one, and still doesn't make her seem any more mature.
OH FU** NO! LOOK HOW THEY MASSACRED THE CHAOTIC GOOD BOY! Rui looks like dogsh** now. He looks like he lives on a small tropical island and he is wearing his grandpa's hand-me-downs. His old design was perfect. It was chaotic, whimsical, and actually looked GOOD on him. He had the same blue as his hair for the undershirt, and a green that blended well with the blue and the orange and salmon blended well with the green and blue. The shirt he used to wear was a nice mix of quirky and modern/stylish. But this new one? This belongs in the trash. It's 1 step up from Mizuki, but just barely. Clearly he let that horrible fashion sense kid take him shopping and pick out his new outfit.
Both of Nene's are fine. They both look good on her.
Oh, great, Tsukasa also looks like he has been made younger. That outfit is doing the opposite of making him look more mature, the old one was better. The old one had a nice modern chic button up shirt and black pants that made him look like the more mature older teen. While the fish jacket gave just a touch of whimsy yet still blended with the rest of it to look well put together. This new outfit looks like his parents dressed him, like he is a child. Bad bad bad.
Shiho's is...fine? None of the colors look GOOD on her, but the style of the outfit fits her personality. The old green hoodie was better though, that fit her personality/style AND was a color that looked good on her.
Hmm, Mafuyu went from looking soft, approachable and almost motherly, to stern tired aunt. Not a fan, but it isn't bad, it does make her look more powerful and mature, like a business woman. But if she is still trying to be a doctor, then softer more approachable look is better for her. If she has decided to drop that and pursue something else, then the new one is fine.
Oh no! An! My favorite girl!!! They have ruined you! Now she just looks like nothing. Her old look really showed where she came from and her pride in her town. This look doesn't pop, it doesn't flatter her form, and it doesn't even make her look more mature! It's a total downgrade. At least her stage outfit DOES look more mature and still looks good on her. This casual crap though just looks like she grabbed the first shirt she touched and her favorite worn out (probably not washed in multiple days) jeans to go with it.
Oh. Ew. Haruka looks even worse than An. She looks...kinda like a slightly feminine faced boy who is trying ro dress like a girl? And that orange is NOT working for her. I know orange and blue are used commonly together, but she needs something in her hair to make that orange work, or her shoes need to have the same orange to pull it all together. And even then the color just doesn't mesh well with her face or hair.
Something about my poor Honami just isn't right either. It looks almost, I dunno, Indian? Not Japanese on her. She seems less motherly and more professional, like a babysitter or manager. At least the colors work on her.
All in all, thanks devs, I hate it. I hope they give us the option to stick with the old outfits if we want to, because BOY would I keep all the old ones in a heartbeat. Tsukasa, Toya, Akito, and An are my favorite of the kids, and they all look better in their old fits. Rui is somewhere up there too and looks perfect in his old casual wear, and dog doo in his new one.

And I have loved Vocaloid for like 11 years and played all the Mirai and Diva games and immediately jumped on Sekai when it finally came out. And since I ended up liking a few of the human kids, I took this even more seriously. 😅

For Saki I think the vest is attached to her shirt since I saw a similar style of shirt before, the shirt is cute but her bottom doesn't really match so it gave off an uneven look. Maybe the contrasting in color or the details don't match
