There's a low chance of Jim Carrey being in Sonic 4 since he’s retired, but hopefully, the director finds a way to bring him back. We're still not sure if Doctor Eggman survived the explosion, but we do know that Shadow did survive, so possibly he’s the one who created Metal Sonic or potentially Agent Stone. What we do know about Sonic 4 is it’ll have time travel, so these robots came from the future. It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with for Sonic 4.
