I had a lower bleph done 3 days ago, I have four purple sponges where the bags were, I don’t understand why they are there, to me all I am seeing is four extra scars where the bags were after the healing has finished, I’m getting more than a little worried, I just wanted to improve my look not come away with four extra marks on my face.
Hope it went well. I had mine done almost a year ago, and am still healing. Physically there are no signs but I still "feel" my eyes. I hated the procedure and it was traumatizing for me. I had repositioning of the fat and cheek pads. Nothing was removed or put back in, like fat grafting, as some do. I had hollowing under eye. The improvement under the eye looks good but the shape of my eye has changed. Not thrilled about that. He did cut, but have since found out that repositioning fat under the eye can be done without cutting. But this is the only way my doctor did it. Why I didn't think my eyes wouldn't change, I have no idea. In hindsight how could they not. I never thought to even ask. It took months to heal, and follow up appt. consisted of injections under the eye to prevent contraction. This left dark buises. Thank goodness for masks. Do your research is my advice.
@AllisonWonders NOT 100% thrilled. Have scars. The guy needs to retire. His technique is outdated. Just my luck I found this guy. Had no idea what I was getting myself into. I wish I had gone to another dr. I have since learned alot. There are easier, more gentler, ways to do this procedure, with quicker healing. His so called special cheek lifting technique can be done with fat grafting. Who the hell wants to have to go through 3 months of healing for a lower blep. Full of regret.
I didn’t do any PRP or laser for my under eye skin with my lower blep. But I am certainly going to do laser to tighten the skin there once I am fully recovered.
London Advanced Facial Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery I have had lower blepharoplasty in 2013. Loved my results however I am been starting to get bags and dark circles again. Is this normal and do I have the option of getting a 2nd procedure done ??

Thank you for the video were you able to see straight after surgery or did you have blurry vision if so how many hours did it last?

Hi Ayesha lower blepharoplasty is a solution for under eye bags and is supposed to be a permanent treatment but natural ageing can take affect
