I can totally relate in my work field too (Architecture) I design thinking about whats the best suited design for the client based on their budget, lifestyle etc for several hours and during the meeting the client changes the design and this process repeats for 3 or 4 meetings.. and finally they come back to the original one i designed at first.. and thats when i get totally pissed off lol..

Client dont even seems to know what they want, yet complaining and want to act like they know it all. This type of people should advertising themselves if they dont know where they stands.

This is relatable, as i am practicing interior visualization, clients actually wants to see some variations, we proposed the best thought possible as designs from our perspective based on our understandings, we know they will finally come to our sense eventually as they understand. the trick cheap i did usually come out with basic first and make the client come with some fresh current ideas (as i am actually aware) and good final cut out. Easy game. Unless some conceptual new ideas, that can be easy or hard game ahead.
The clients sounds like my old boss. And I also used to work in the media industry. Terrible boss. Can totally relate.
