Chills, A year ago being in a small venue in ATX... Listening to her just do her thing was the most amazing experience. I have been to many concerts, but never have i felt the music the way that I felt it with Tones and I. I'm ready for her to continue to shine.
Excellent comment. Her songs are her poetry. Her performance is raw, highly personal, touching so many, and no studio gimmicks or autotune. She sounds exactly the same on the street, as does her self looped and self played backing. Tones is the real deal, unique, and I don't think people or Tones fully comprehend her genius yet.

I've wondered why her songs make me cry, apparently it's so for many others. I thought it was her tone, her voice, but then why?
There is a song 'breaking up is hard to do' which talks about loss, but in reality growing up is harder! There probably have always been many injustices in the past that children have had to endure, trying for many yrs. after to come to terms with. This is what Tones reminds us of and we feel her pain as we remember our own . . . . it IS what makes us all human. 🥴
