Great explanations. It really clicked when you said not to put notes that are close together in the bass. I always heard you don't want a muddy or bottom heavy arrangement but I just thought not having to much bass.
Of you were trying to orchestrate a chord with 7ths or 9ths or alterations of some kind, would you typically do a five note voicing in the strings with no doublings, or would you stick to triads in the strings and keep the color notes in a different section?
Thanks for the very helpful video, very good explanation of voicing string chords. I noticed you are not using CSS 1.7 Update in your video. I'm guessing you didn't have much time to update CSS yet ? OH,.. and I'm surely getting your ESA Course !
Ganz große Klasse. Eines der besten Videos, die ich bisher zu diesem Thema gesehen habe !! Bitte mehr davon !!
Very helpful. Thank you, Chris!
Very welcome!
You can't have a "true" lush string sound without divisi... Change my mind 🤣Thanks for sharing this Christopher!
Definitely tricky, but nothing’s impossible 🤩

Try either one and use what sounds best to you. Sometimes its all about thinking outside the box and breaking the rules.
Ps. I’m so glad you love CSS as much as I do.
So good!
D Sandwich!

So glad you enjoyed! This video was actually recorded prior to updating CSS, hence the 1.5.
Excited to see you inside the course!!
