이날 방청 갔었는데 진짜 개쩔었음 가수들 노래 직접 많이 들어봤었는데 진짜 아직까지도 살면서 들었던 노래중에 1위임 노래를 들으면서 소름이 돋은적이 처음.. 확실히 방송으로는 느낄수없는것이 있다는걸 이날 처음 알게됨 진짜 짱짱 살면서 또 이날처럼 노래를 들으면서 소름이 돋을수있는날이 왔으면 좋겠다

Solji's vocals r so unappreciated. She honestly is one of the best vocalists in this generation.
Her range is actually not that outstanding, it's her technique that sets her apart. It's really outstandingly well (as expected with her being the girls voice coach!)
she tends to strain a lot despite being a caoch though but I don’t hate or dislike her because of it. Her notes on a song are usually super high then they have to practice it countless of times then they have to perform it on multiple music shows so no wonder her voice really gets tired a lot
@@ayazu515 That's pop for you. You trade off vocal health for the wow factor. Idols are usually under trained and are relying on raw talent to hit notes that are really unhealthy for their voices. But since Solji is classically trained (I assume? Since she was a vocal coach?) I hope she's able to mediate some of that straining
Manager Sejin Stan she doesn’t. She supports well up to C5 which is kind of average/above average for a singer. Actually, U.Ji, who was supposedly trained by Solji sings better, supporting up to D5

When it comes to technique, all the pairs are quite evenly matched. But the chemistry between these 2 were arguably the best! There voices match and they harmonize really well, and both of them just put so much emotion into this song.
Doo jin su is a vocal trainer and Solji was a vocal trainer bfore she join EXID ... I guess that's why they have very good chemistry ...

You'll be surprised that that it's actually very hard to find good covers of this song. Like you can sing it but if you don't move your voice a certain way and hit the right note it sounds weird. The only other great cover I've heard was by hyeongyeol and woohyuk on singing battle. But anyways as I was saying, THIS IS AN AMAZING COVER!!! FLAWLESS AND I AM IN LOVE!

IMO the best cover will always be ulala session, the pure emotion they put into the song is just so raw I cry every time I listen to their cover. Unfortunately there are only old covers and they will never surpass themselves since their main vocalist passed away.

무대에서 보여주는 그녀의 화려한 스킬에 참 감탄했습니다.
그녀의 화음으로 누구랑 듀엣을 해도 절대 뒤쳐지진 않겠구나 싶었어요.
그녀의 보컬에 정말 대단함을 느꼈어요.
하지만 그럼에도 불구하고 이번 무대는 아쉬움이 남았습니다.
"서쪽하늘"은 애절함으로 부르는 노래죠.
누군가를 잃은 슬픔을 최대한 그대로 잘 살려서 전달해야 하는 노래인데
너무 화려한 스킬에만 집중한 게 아닌가 싶은 생각이 들었어요.
분명 노래를 부르는 모습은 굉장히 멋있어 보이는데
그게 슬픔을 표현하는 것 같아보이진 않았어요.
이 노래를 통해서 슬픔을 보여줘야 할 사람이
화려하고 멋있게만 보이면
당연히 노래의 분위기와는 안 맞는 느낌이 들겠죠.
이게 벌써 6년전 영상이니 지금은 발전이 있겠죠.
솔지를 아끼는 마음에 솔직한 평을 적어보았습니다.

It’s sad. Way more people would recognise Solji’s vocal talent if she was a popular soloist. Singers like Ailee, Taeyeon, IU, Hyorin etc are incredibly well known and happen to be soloists. I’m in no way saying solji has to go solo, I’m just saying popularity can really overwhelm talent.
