Hi Galal, it's a wonderful session, thank you so much. One Question thought- My company is registered in US and plant abroad is in Europe. How will this impact STO process as currency are different. Goods getting transferred form EUR to US
Hi Galal, it's a wonderful session, thank you so much. If possible can you show, what type of configuration is needed for this process to be done in the SAP System?
Hi Galal, Thanks for the video. I have worked on plant abroad functionality before where plant abroad holds the inventory physically as well as in the system. So the material will be dispatched directly to the customer from this plant. One intra company po will be created for intrastat vat reporting which will not have any fi impact. In your example one thing which was missing where will the physical inventory be held Germany or france. If it is held in france, how the user will know from system, how much inventory is lying there beforehand as in your case, your are doing intra company sto later to plant in France
You're welcome! All config is already maintained in the members' configuration manual. I've done another video with a the system demo ruclips.net/video/ghNq1lZSw-g/видео.html
Thank you for this explanation. What I don’t understand, if we directly sell and deliver from stock in Germany to a customer in France, why do we need to have a plant abroad there? In my understanding we only need a plant abroad if we actually keep materials on stock there and sell from there. For example a warehouse where the customer comes to pick up the product and expect this as a local sale. We can still do intrastat in Germany based on the invoice to the customer. The destination country will simply be FR.
Yeah but we won't be able to generate the VAT reports for France separately, and in case the destination country has a different local currency (e.g., Poland) then we won't be able to report the VAT in zloty
