  • These are almost always served with Tex Mex food, and even Barbecue in South Texas. I like to add a splash of olive oil on top after opening the jars. So tasty - and hot!

    I never saw a Taqueria when I was growing up in Texas either. We just called them Mexican restaurants that served tacos. But everything has to have a fancy name these days and there are Taquerias on every corner now. Very excited to can some of these. I’ve been doing cowboy candy for awhile and this will make a lovely new addition to our condiments. Thank you so much.

      Process them exactly the same in a hot water bath, except cover the jars with one to two inches of water. The time is the same.

    I’m gonna try this. I would live to see a full shot of your apron pinafore I could only see glimpses and would live to see how that is attached on the sides?

    • @VickiesCountryHome
      @VickiesCountryHome  Год назад

      It is basically a pullover at the top. The seam down the back is open, but the apron gives full coverage.

    Maybe that's a lesson. Jalapeno's grow more if you don't mess with them too much?
