Bought mine new back in 17 upgraded to electric anchors and vinyl flooring. We just left cypress springs in Vernon fl knee deep water no problem. Best thing me and wifey has bought
I had one many years ago with a 40 HP Johnson. Surprisingly fast for such a small motor and could get on plane in nothing flat. I never warmed up to the stick-steering and sold it for something larger, with a steering wheel. One issue I had with it is that the rear end would break loose in turns.
They are really cool and unique. I take it on huge lakes like lake Lanier in GA and small creeks. It's a flat bottom so you want to hit the waves at an angle. Thanks!
@@jaw-gajuly727 Thk u! It looks like a great setup to explore and fish from. I’m in Florida, with a great lake nearby and the Everglades about 2hrs or so away, I think its a great setup, to sit up front and see clearly, while having the rear section for as needed. For me, the hot humid weather isn’t really my thing, and I love being outdoors, so this concept of boating, exploring the wildernesses, fishing during the winter season is a huge win for me, I’m really liking the idea more and more, affordable boating during my ideal season is even that much more appealing, definitely a great Plan B without an airboat, maybe a jet-drive outboard setup will be afterwards, time will tell. Offshore and saltwater fishing has just gotten really out of control, along with all the additional hidden expenses in owning those kinds of boats, storage, fuel, maintenance, accessories, ugh, its basically takin all the fun out of it all now for me. The stick control boats, brings me back to the old days, with a tiller setup fishing and water skiing behind an old aluminum semi-vee hull, fond memories for sure.
@@jaw-gajuly727 Definitely get that, it does the job and beyond, making those memories is whats really important. Stay Safe, and again, Thx for sharing🤙🏻💯
Affordable is the key! I have another video going 3 miles off the coast at myrtle beach. I used to run up the Chattahoochee in it too which is a rocky bottom! Nothing feels better than being on a boat. Pure freedom. Enjoy brotha, thanks! Best part is it fits in the garage too haha no storage fees
A close friend of mine had one of these with a 40 h/p outboard on it. He replaced the prop lower unit to a jet drive and had the transom raised a few inches. It would run in 4" to 6" water with no problem. Great little boat.

I want to change the carpet too! They stopped making them! Great boat most people have never seen these!

Great video, thanks for sharing your day on the water, seriously thinking of getting a stick steer like any day, so your video was extremely helpful 💯

They will drift when making a sharp turn at fast speeds.

Stick steer will beat you to death up front. I had to put a smooth moves suspension seat on mine or I would have sold it.

Love the upchurch blasting in the beginning
Great video but drop the bud lite
I even gave up bush light! Glad you liked the vid! :)
I'm debating on getting a stick steer. Nice boat.
Fits in the garage and runs shallow. You can take it anywhere. Just have to hit the waves right.
Beats you to death up front on big lakes with chop
@@bp30656100% correct. I put a smooth moves suspension seat on mine. Had I not, I was going to get rid of it.

40 Merc? Top speed?
With a 3 blade prop it's like 34 mph but the 4 blade prop is a little less like 31 mph
Who manufactures this boat?
It's a tracker boat. Bass pro brand. All aluminum. They stopped making this model though.
Keith Poche would be amused.
Is this a problem motor or a jet?
4 blade prop
