Thank you so much for this Sir! I just got my sewing machine and I needed a different color of thread so I’m really glad I found your channel! Will definitely check your other tutorials 🥹🫶🏻
Hey nice video, i just want to ask Whats the use of the bolt with the red rubber, the bolt next to the adjuster of length of stitching. Is it an adjuster of some sort Because my machine have the hole for the bolt but not the bolt itself Thank you so much, i appreciate your help
NO THAT'S NOT HOW1! There was a very small hole close to where the thread wraps around the bobbin. You place the thread thru that HOLE. Once you start winding the thread will snap on its own. What you did is a great way to have the bobbin thread tangled and cause a major jam once the thread gets closer to the end. WHY DO YOU TRY TO HAND WIND WHEN THE MACHINE IS DESIGNED TO DO THE JOB. I do get really tired of people doing this in their instruction, which lets me know you don't know what you are talking about.
@@igbama3645 My post was correct. There is a small hole in the side of the bobbin. Place the thread thru the hole "FROM INSIDE THE BOBBIN". Place the bobbin on the winder and hold the thread as it winds. This will ensure that the thread is wound properly as it gets to the end. I believe this is so simple that a 9 year old would understand. I am right. I see these so call instructional videos and at least 30 percent of the time the instructions are incorrect. When it comes to a Singer machine, you will need to get up long before day to beat me. I worked for them far to many years. When I sold a machine new or used, I took ample time to make sure the customer would be able to operate the machine. Often I would sell to a husband or boyfriend and I would show him how to impress his wife or girlfriend by being able to operate the machine. I allow whoever purchased the machine some play time in the store. My point would be, you don't know as much about a Singer machine as you want others to think. I don't mean my post to sound so harsh but all over the net, bad advice is given and all it would take is a look on the net for an instructional manual "ON LINE" to get your facts straight. You don't even need to print the manual.

The presser foot must be up,
Not engaged so as to prevent the needle from making a stitch while winding the bobbin
Please make a video on what to do when the needle is not catching a thread from the bobbin
You mean thread looping on top stich?
