I ordered my very first two 7 inch figure to paint as a first timer and seeing this gave me hope hope I got this one and a blood angel pre horus heresy so I'm gonna paint it black and red
Gave you a thumbs up for many reason, relaxing video to watch, easy voice, figure looks nice and I also bought a McFarlane Raven Guard to repaint into a Space Marine. Keep up the good work 👍
Just come back to this one, having a little JH Marathon this morning, been watching your videos for past 3 hours, this one is brilliant. You are the spiritual successor to Bob Ross JH! Big love dude.
Came for the water bottle review, stayed for the heresy. Well done on this paint job. I've always found larger models like this much more difficult since there's so much more open space to make mistakes in and they are harder to cover up.
I just got into painting miniatures I got this guy by mistake not knowing what I was ordering. Thx for the video. I primed him today so I will.start my painting project tomorrow
looks awesome , i was gifed this figure by my wife on my birthday and i havent been sure how to paint such a large figure XD, thanks for this video im going to try my luck at a black legion style of this chaos marine :D
Just got this figure waiting on the paints, this vid is super helpful in a prep. I've painted WH figs before, but this is gonna be my first action figure. Good job on making that head look cool, it's sculpt was my only major grip about the figure. (It's not a bad sculpt I just would have prefered a Helm with horns for a Chaos Marine.

This looks so good, great job and thanks for sharing. I bought the artist proof genestealer and this motivated me to finally paint the thing haha
for your first time you did great brother! keep it up!
Thanks! It was kind of sketchy at first, but it all came together in the end like a Bob Ross painting.

so i never fully painted a grey figure in the line but i did get one of the first few Marine figs from 40k and just added detail to it.
Nice paintwork!
I just painted this a few days ago. My first real piece.

Not good, I got impatient when I couldn't get good paint in my area so I bought craft paint at Walmart.

Nice! The hardest part is putting the first streak of paint on the figure.
What would you do to avoid paint chipping ? Especially when you get him wield his weapons

Yeah the horns would have been cool. McFarlane did make one, but it's pre-painted. I hope yours comes out looking awesome!
Not bad man!
Thanks!
Just got two of these did a regualr soldier blue and white came out great. The more you do the better you get
Good Vid!
Thanks!
Love your video i came for ideas for the ones i bought, did you use any varnish to prevent the paint from chipping?
No, I didn't use any varnish. After I finished, I just put him on the shelf.
How do the weapons work? I can’t get them to fit in its hand.
The hands can be stiff. Run them under hot water to soften them up and spread them apart.
