Sue's "goodbye video" popped up on my feed for seemingly no reason and I felt compelled to watch it having no idea who she was or why she would randomly show up. The video completely floored me, Mike -- I suppose until someone is in that situation, that person can never predict how they would react or behave. I was impressed, inspired and outright taken with how brave a woman she was to post something so open and courageous. You have my utmost empathy and I wish you nothing but the best in healing and good health. Please be well and keep your wife's bravery at the forefront of your memories.
Unfortunately "Goodbye to all my friends" was my first video of Sue, just randomly popped up on my feed as I was browsing for crochet Easter projects. But this will definitely not be the last video I watch from this channel! With just a quick glance at the page and I see beautiful pieces of art and a beautiful person on the thumbnails. I'm so sorry, Mike, for your loss, but I hope this comment (along with all the others!) let you know that Sue's legacy will still go on! Sending big hugs from across the internet
Same here....I have cried for this family that I don't even know. Praying you all find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched by only seeing her face and watching her last video.
Its interesting how the "goodbye to friends" video has taken off in the algorithm and we end up here because we're curious. She seemed like a really sweet lady that i didn't know existed until 10 minutes ago. Life is strange.
Thank you to everyone who followed my beautiful and amazingly creative aunt sue ❤ thank you for everyone who supported her and please give my cousins and uncle time to process ❤️ uncle mike, I love you and I hope I’m not overstepping ❤
Hello Sweetie. I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear aunt. Your message here is beautiful and the thoughtfulness to request time for grieving is absolutely appropriate. Our messages of love and support are all here if it’s ever helpful to read them. Wishing you peace, love, light, and may your aunt’s spirit shine within your heart always. Take care. Edited to add: If necessary, please forgive my informalness of calling you “sweetie”. I’m old enough I’m sure to be your grandmother, so it’s just my way.
I’m a teenage girl and Sue’s last video came up on my recommended today. I have never seen her channel, and her video brought me to tears. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and I know that she’ll live on through her beautiful artwork. I know I’m just a random stranger on the internet, but my comment is always here if any of you ever need anything. ❤ I hope you’re doing well.
I know this is random but I wanted to say, Jesus will fulfill you more than anything in this world, I speak from experience (from when i did Romans 10:9-13), he loves you and wants to be in a meaningful (not romantic) relationship with you. :) “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13 KJV “and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15 KJV If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on RUclips and a RUclips channel called Expedition Bible. They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and he will. God Bless :)
Hello Mike, Sue's goodbye video popped up on my feed, and although I've never watched this channel; her video and this one was touching. As I can see, she, you and your family are all wonderful people; I am wishing you nothing but strength, peace and happiness. My wife is also a crafty person; and seeing those crochet animals in the background reminded me that I need to cherish every moment with her, so it seems Sue's crafts and love are still touching a year later. Again, nothing but strength, peace and happiness to you and your loved ones.
Sues last video popped up in my recommended…as a cancer patient I realize how blessed I am to be doing as good as I am. My prayers are with you and your family.
@@penniesfromheavon im so sorry💔 Sending Prayers and best wishes, Praying for a quick and smooth recovery and that it never comes back❤️ God be with you✝️❤️
This video just got recommended to me. I am 20 years old, living in the same city that sue grew up in, and it reminds me of how small the world is and how we are all connected. You are such a strong and loving man to your wife, and she seemed like a brave kind and beautiful soul. Best wishes to you sir, and my condolences to you and your family for her loss
@@larryl392 oh I'm WAYYY off but thank you for that. I'm on the Eastern shore of Maryland.... Definitely haven't seen tbem around town then. But again thanks for the update 🙂
Oh Mr. Sloan, my sincerest apologies for your loss. I was new here, but was immediately taken with Sue's beautiful art, I am even going out to get the items I need to create my own. I am glad she knew how much her followers loved her. I pray your family finds solace in this loss in that she is no longer in pain. Thank you for the update Mr. Sloan. My love and prayers to you and your family. 💛🕊📿🙏
Thank you so much Mike for letting us know. Sue was such a beautiful person. We'll miss her terribly. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll continue coming to her channel. I still have much to learn from her. ❤️
Today, I saw Sue's goodbye video on my recommended page while looking for a crochet project to make for the librarians I work with. I watched the video and she was incredibly sweet. I looked for an update and here I am. I read her obituary and found out that she is from the town I currently live in, Elgin IL. A small world indeed. I hope Sue's family is doing well and know that Sue brought us all here to send love and support. I hope she's watching over your family and that you know how many people she reached after her passing. I look forward to going back and looking at her art.
The world lost a light on Friday. Actually, her last video was my first, but I plan on going back and watching more. She was so amazing and courageous to tell us personally that she was leaving us! I hope you and your family have some comfort in knowing Sue was loved by so many “strangers” and that she lives on, sharing her gift with us and others who come across her channel. 💗
Me also, I too looked back at all of Sue’s beautiful work in awe ❤ I for one will be watching and learning from such, not only a wonderful artist but also a beautiful and very courageous lady. I don’t personally know the Sloan family but I send my deepest sympathies and condolences to you all. Sue was such an exceptional inspirational lady, gone too soon. xx
Sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to Mike and the girls. Sue’s goodbye was also my first video and I’ll be going back to view her beautiful work and help keep her vision for the channel growing. May she Rest In Peace and may her family‘s memories with her bring them peace and comfort.❤️
Mike and daughters, Sue was one my unsung mentors, not just in her creativity, but also in her attitude and approach to life and death. Thank you all for sharing her with us.
I'm so sorry for your loss man. Don't feel bad if you can't keep the channel running. I know Sue is extremely grateful you did this and gave us an update. We love you, Mike!
sue's goodbye video appeared seemingly out of nowhere on my feed. i'm not a guy who crochets, nor did i know whos he was, but i watched anyway. needless to say, after watching her goodbye video and this one, i'm just about brought to tears. god bless sue and her family, and may she rest easy knowing she fostered a loving community during her last few years on this earth.

Hello. Sue’s “goodbye” video randomly popped up on my feed. From the few videos I’ve seen of her, she was a lovely soul. A beautiful woman full of love, creativity, and inspiration. I’m so sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort in knowing she is in a better place. She clearly made a positive impact on many lives and everyone will continue to live with just a small piece of her kindness 💕

yeah me too...I pray she rests easy up there in Heaven waiting for her family and friends to come join her, (In God's time) to paint and craft their happy eternity in peace.

I appreciate your informing Sue's followers of the sad news. Sue has been in my thoughts so often over the past weeks and months. She taught me so much through her frequent dotting videos and I have tried to duplicate so many of the beautiful designs she so generously shared with all of us. I am sorry for what she suffered and for your loss. I hope you and your family find some comfort in the knowledge that Sue was appreciated and admired by so many who didn't even have the opportunity to meet her in person. Her talent and calm and sweet disposition were so evident. Bless her and your family at this sad time.
Sue's goodbye popped up in my feed, quite random. I would normally scroll past this but something urged me to watch and I am glad I did. I found a cool channel :). She's a very a beautiful person, and you are an honored man to have shared love with each other. From this video I can guess she was also honored to have you. I hope this little message from a random person helps you through this period of both grieving and celebration of life. ❤
I’m so terribly sorry Mike. It’s always hard to lose such wonderful people. You sitting down and giving people thanks is an absolutely wonderful and brave thing to do. My prayers are with you and your family as always.
I know it was not easy coming on here to give us an update, so we appreciate it. I am truly saddened for your loss but ultimately like you said, Sue is free. Free from the pain and anguish having to go through all of that. May the memories of her live on and give you peace within your hearts. One day at a time may your hearts mend. 💕
I am so sorry to hear this and so sorry for your loss. I kept praying for a miracle, but as much as I will miss Sue, it is comforting to know that she will finally be free from pain. I know she is smiling down on you and grateful to you for keeping her channel alive. Sending prayers to you and your family.
Her goodbye video popped up randomly and I decided to click on it. What a strong beautiful woman she was. Ive recently taken up painting and crafts too so will definitely be going through her videos
I'm so sorry for your family's immense loss. It's wonderful that Sue's creativity and passion for art will live on through this channel, as well as her personality and warm nature.
Thanks so much for letting us know. I’m heartbroken for you and your family and I’m so sorry for all the suffering and pain Sue has gone through. As painful as this is, it’s good to know she is free now. Today marks the 23rd anniversary of my husbands sudden and tragic death, I can assure you the pain of loss never goes away, but we learn to live with it over time. Sue has left an amazing body of work behind for us all to enjoy, it is so wonderful that you are planning to honour her memory by keeping this channel going. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. The next piece I paint will be another one of sues beautiful designs. Thank so so much, and take care of yourselves ♥️♥️♥️
Sue's goodbye video popped up on my RUclips feed and I am now sitting here in tears over a woman and family I never knew existed. She seems like such a sweet woman and like she was a real fighter. I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep your family in my thoughts. I'll be hugging my husband a little tighter tonight and I'll be remembering all the blessings I have.
Mike, you and sue were my favorite neighbors I ever had. I’m so sorry for you and your children and grand children. I just came across this today and wanted to give you my best wishes, and love.
Mike, thank you very much for coming to screen.... I just found Sue's channel (December, 2023) after her passing. I am a beginner. I deeply appreciate you keeping this channel for me and for everyone who continue to learn from Sue and Sue's work
I don't cry for much strangely, but I cried for this. Never found this channel till now, but she was a great artist. Hope she designs new developments up in the Cosmos of the Universe. This makes me remember many RUclipsrs who have passed on, like Chef Derek Butt who passed from cancer. Taught me everything I know about cannabis infusion and a little bit about growing. He is Gods botanist and cannabis chef. You wife is one of Gods artists.
I usually don’t look up tutorials but I was looking up ways to wrap presents and Sue’s goodbye popped up on my feed. I am so impressed with what is obviously a successful channel. It is very clear she was dearly loved. I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish you peace in your memories this holiday season. December 2024
Mike, may you feel the comfort of God as you and your family grieve the loss of your wife and mother. She was so gifted in her art and how she taught painting. I truly hope you keep the channel going because I have so many more projects to try. I’m brain injured and the only way I can paint is to copy Sue’s artwork. Thank you for letting us know of her passing. She is definitely in a better place. You and your family are in my prayers as you deal with your loss.
Thank you for letting us know, and I am so sorry for your loss. Part of Sue's legacy will be one of spreading beauty through her art. Her heart of wanting to share her talent will be cherished through each of us that learned from her. Praying over you and your family.
My heart goes out to you Mike as Im sure your heart is broken. Even though Sue is now painfree resting in Heaven. I know how hard it is on you. I, for one, will never forget Sue and her fun way of inspiring others with her beautiful art! Her whole family will be held in prayer. Thank you for everything Sue! You will forever be loved by so many!
I never heard of Sue until her Goodbye video poped in my recommendation a few minutes ago. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sue sounded like such a wonderful person.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for taking a moment to let us know. She was so incredibly talented in her work, and I appreciate you keeping her channel up. There are so many wonderful videos here. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. ❤
Art is therapy for so many of us ..what Sue did helped many live better, the content she created still touching lives. Take time to heal and grieve, Mike ...God close with you (and the family) during this time. _Sue, _*_thank you, thank you_*
Sending all my love to you, Mike. And to your children. Today is my cousin's birthday, she would be 34 if she was still here. Life is not fair. Sue was a gift to the world.
Sues video popped Up on my feed, and I just want to say that you and your family are beautiful and deserve each other so very much. She seems like such a sweet lady, and she knows you guys will carry her soul onto great and wonderful things. Peace and love ♡
I'm so sorry for your loss. And Mike, you did an awesome job with this post. I greatly appreciate you letting us know. I did enjoy watching her teach us and the talent she had. She will be very much missed.
I am so sorry for your loss, coming from someone who’s never lost a family member or someone close I can’t even begin to imagine how hard this must be for you and your family. She seemed like such a sweetheart, and I hope you and everyone who loved her are okay, and I hope everyone can admire everything she did in her life and all of the art she created and shared with people. Rest in peace sue, and sending love to all of your family and friends
I am so sorry for your loss. I only just discovered Sue and her amazing talents. She was a gifted and beautiful human being. I saw her ‘goodbye’ video, which came up on my feed and that’s what brought me here. I just watched a 35 minute video of hers, teaching how to paint a dot mandala on a four inch piece of cardboard. I was transfixed by her handiwork and her voice. It was like a meditation. I don’t know if I will paint my own mandala but please keep this channel alive because I intend to watch as often as I can. Just hanging out with Sue, virtually, is a calming and healing experience. Yes…a reason for hanging on as long as she did…just a darn shame it wasn’t longer. Again, my heart goes out to you and your and her friends and family.
I just found this channel today while searching for some crafting tutorials. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sue seemed to be such a beautiful soul and could craft beautiful things. I've had cancer take more than one of my close family members, and it was always world shattering. From the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry for your pain from the loss. I wish you and your family well.
My goodness - I stumbled upon Sue's videos for the first time today. I want to share my condolences. I can tell she was an amazing human, not just a talented artist. I am grateful that I will have an opportunity to learn from Sue. What a beautiful legacy - that she continues to inspire budding artists. I wish Mike and all of Sue's family peace. Thank you for sharing--and continuing to share--her lessons and her beautiful art with the world. Peace be with you.
Sues video popped up on my recommendation just now. Ive seen the video. Ive come onto this video straight after. Sue is an inspiring and brave person. My nana was named susan and she passed 4 years ago from cancer. She was my inspiration and my guidence in life. Thankyou for the algorithm/the universe for reminding us how lucky we are and do not take this time we have nor people for granted. Lets make this world a better place and be kind to one another, be supportive and do someone you know or even a stranger a kind gesture of help, even just a smile or ask them how they're doing. You never know who's day youre making or how someone's feeling but that simple act if kindess can bring someone the hope that they'd lost. Make humanity a better place to live in. We only have this life. Im glad you've found peace sue.
This hurts me so much... Sue was an amazing person with such a beautiful soul, I had so little hope that she was going to be here for a little bit longer... Rest in peace, Sue Sloan. You'll be remembered for your incredible art, your incredible personality, and your incredible humor ♥️
I simply was looking for a crochet tutorial as I have inherited my late grandmother's yarn and crochet needles. (Whom I miss so dearly) and your wifes goodbye video popped up. I look around your room and it looks like my spare room with all of my grandma's crochet and craft supplies and my heart breaks for you. I see all the neat things your wife has made just like my grandmother and it blesses my heart to see sweet things that she has made. Its comforting...evidence of her beautiful life. I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm praying that God comforts your heart as well as your children. Your wife seemed like a special woman with a kind spirit.
I just met Sue tonight. Her Goodbye video came up in my feed, and she seemed like a very lovely woman. When she mentioned painting, I decided to take a look at your channel, and Wow, her artwork is amazing,! I definitely want to give it a try! Thank you so much for keeping her Channel running! I can't wait to learn from her.
Oh no. My sincerest apologies. I'm so glad she isn't feeling pain any longer, and I'm so deeply sorry for your loss, and the loss of Sue. She sounded like an absolutely wonderful person. The goodbye video she uploaded was deeply moving. I had been hoping not to see this update so soon. I just want to thank Sue for being a bright spot in the universe. She will be dearly missed by so many. And thank her for sharing her art with the world. She had such an amazing talent. I hope nothing but the absolute best for your family moving forward.
Bless your sweet soul and hers as you travel this shift in your relationship. The physical, oh so short and temporary...the spirit, always here and closer to us than even our own breath. I happened upon one of Sue's videos just a couple of months ago. It inspired this 68-year-old to start painting again for the first time in several years. Dot painting mandalas weren't even on my radar until Sue's beautiful work and sweet manner entered my life. Today I am surrounded by dozens of beautiful practice mandalas that are feeding my soul and bringing me a deep and unexpected peace in the making of them. Now, a bit of your beloved wife lives on in me, and I am so grateful to her for her gift. I am so sorry for your agony, as I know the depth of one's grief is always equal to the depth of one's love. May you have peace 💚
Can’t say I’ll go back and watch more videos though I hope I will but will say I’m glad this channel came my way. I’m so sorry to see a talented artist go in this way but seeing her devotion to you and you to her really warms my heart. I’m a newlywed and things are sometimes rocky- especially when you mix the terrors from how the modern dating mindset effects married couples but seeing people who stood the test of time gives me up for these new generations.
Mike… I am so sorry! My heart hurts for your family. I am so glad she is not in pain anymore. My mom suffered from the same cancer, lost her a year and a half ago. I truly enjoyed Sue’s beautiful art work! Sending prayers and healing to you and your family!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
“Goodbye to all my friends” was the first video I watched of Sue, and this was the most recent video on the channel the first time I viewed it. Over the last several months I have fallen in love with this channel and watching these videos of Sue’s amazing creations. The most powerful thing that someone can leave behind after there passing is passion, and this channel is the manifestation of that. Rest in peace Sue, you live on through your passion. ❤️
Thank you, Mike. My words of condolence will be amongst so many and likely to not be seen, but Sue’s channel was the first one I subscribed to when I became curious about paint dotting and it saddens me that she’s no longer with us. I wish you and your family strength and peace as you move through your grieving journey. Much love from 🇬🇧 💔
I just discovered this channel only moments ago when RUclips recommended her final video to me. She seemed such a loving and gentle person, I'm very sorry for your loss and hope your family is doing well.
I am so sorry for your loss, and all the suffering that Sue and your family have gone through. I came across this channel when she uploaded her last video, and I wish I found it sooner. Her artwork was beautiful, and still continues to be, and I hope you understand how lucky you are to have a wife who's beautiful legacy will be taught and shared to thousands of people online, and a community that will forever remember her for her stunning pieces of art, and will always support you, her friends and her family. My best of wishes go out to you, and although it will be painful, I hope you live the rest of your life in happiness. We love you, Mike, and we loved Sue, and always will. May she rest in peace. 🕊❤
Mike, thank you so much for letting us know about Sue. My heart breaks for you and your family, and for Sue. The world lost a treasure on Friday. I know she had so much more to share with the world, but God needed her home. Thank you all for your decision to keep Sue's channel open. There is a whole new generation who will find so much inspiration and encouragement from Sue's tutorials. She was, and will continue to be a blessing to so very many. I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers. Fly high with the angels, Sue! You will forever be remembered and loved! ❤
For some reason the goodbye video was recommended to me. I watched this next and this is the one that made me cry. You are so strong to even do this video. We can tell it wasn't easy. God bless you and your family.
Sending so much love to you & your family, I can't imagine the pain you're all going through right now. She was such a beautiful soul. Rest easy Sue, you're in a better place now 🤍🕊
I have watched some of Sues tutorials and have enjoyed them. Her goodnye popped up and I thought...What??? So very sad. Sending condolences to all her famiky and friends. Thank you for continuing to keep her channel up. A living legacy ✨️ ❤ May she RIP 🙏
I’m so sorry for your loss. The craft community on RUclips is filled with wonderful people and I’m pretty sure many of them would be willing to contribute their videos to help keep her channel active. Even if you hold them back for when something needs to be put up. Again, my sincere condolences for your loss. RIP Sue 🕊️
Sue was so generous and kind, she has left as all a legacy here on you tube with her beautiful art, to do that for total strangers people she never met or knew, yet she reached out and offer her skills, encouragement and motivation so that others could learn and enjoy something so beautiful is such a generous and a wonderful thing for her to do. I know she will be missed deeply.
I created the Christmas ornaments and gifted the patterns she designed. I feel like a part of her beauty and talent that she freely gave to the world will live on. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. ❤
Rip sue even though I have only known her since a minute ago I feel like I’ve known her for years, this is really heart melting I wish she the best life in heaven and Isiah you and your daughters teh best life and you can over come this obstacle in life and you are able to find joy in the small things, God bless you ❤❤

I wish I discovered this channel when Sue was still was still here so she knew how much she helped us! I'm so deeply sorry for your loss❤️ I hope you continue making videos!
I'm so very sorry... You and your family are being prayed for. I found Sue's page in my recommendations a few months ago and am amazed at the talent. I plan to start trying to paint some of her ideas as a way to help with anxiety and depression. I've always wanted to try this and look forward to creating with some of Sue's creations as inspiration! Thank you for continuing her beautiful channel. Rest in Peace Sue. You will continue to inspire others such as myself. ❣
I am so very sorry for your pain right now. Sue was a wonderful teacher and had a big heart for her art community. She will always be loved and missed, and I am grateful for the videos that are her legacy. My heart felt condolences and God's comfort to you and your family.
I just stumbled across this channel and your wifes lovely work! I wish you all well, and I could see what a lovely soul she is. all the love from Ireland.
I just found Sue’s video a few minutes ago, it popped up out of nowhere. Sue made some beautiful art, and she seemed so so kind. Rest in peace to sue and warmest regards to her family.
I just came across Sue's goodbye at random and halfway through wanted to see an update on her, hoping some miracle for her and your family. I am sorry for your loss and I hope that she sends you reminders how much she loved you because your family loved her so well. I know that sting all too well and we always wish for those to be pain free but those little reminders make the good memories that much sweeter. Sending you love and prayers this holiday season.
Mike I am so sorry for your loss. Sue was such an inspiration to me in getting me started in dot painting. What a sweet spirit she had and what an amazing instructor. I will continue to look up all of her videos and learn all I can. What a great legacy!
I never knew of Sue until i saw her goodbye video pop up on my recommendations. Such a short video yet filled with so much emotion. May she rest in peace. ❤

Same here, that’s how I saw her first video. God bless the family.
Yes, same 😕

Same here....I have cried for this family that I don't even know. Praying you all find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched by only seeing her face and watching her last video.
That woman fought cancer for 18 years. Sue will be a legend and her family is keeping that legend alive.
Its interesting how the "goodbye to friends" video has taken off in the algorithm and we end up here because we're curious. She seemed like a really sweet lady that i didn't know existed until 10 minutes ago. Life is strange.
I agree, her content is not what I would exactly watch, yet her goodbye message/video popped up into all our feeds. May she rest in peace.
Same here. Sorry for your loss and condolences to the family. Damn you Cancer.
Taking off again
I just saw it. I pray that her video consoles her family in knowing that her life has touched so many.

RIP Sue

Hello Mike,
Sue's goodbye video popped up on my feed, and although I've never watched this channel; her video and this one was touching.
