    I don't understand how we can gain back our Civilizational Heritage and Claim to Decolonialized completely without being able to read, write, understand and speak Sanskrit the language in which all our Vedas, Puranas, Kavyas, even the Mantras, Prayers, etc is written! Unless we, as a Civilizational Bharat, are able to understand our Civilizational Heritage and Foundational books in the original Language its written in, we cannot be fully Decolonialized!
    It is the one Language that stitches the length and breadth of this land as Mother of all Languages!
    Sanskrit and Tamil are amongst the most Ancient Languages of our Land and has the most Glorious of Literature!

      There are only 3 classical languages in the world viz sanskrit ,tamil & latin ,so every effort should be made to preserve our classical languages. Many of the Indian languages are derived from sanskrit so ,if introduced as a 2nd language in all schools, then it would definitely become national language in few decades.

    Don't understand Indians. Keep talking about India's civilizational culture ,but not prepared to push for a classical language like sanskrit as national language. Just introduce sanskrit as 2nd in all schools and you'll see results in the next 30 years.

    How long English will remain a global language ? forever ? French used to be global language before English. It's called 'lingua franca'. Where is it now ? Can mandarin or Sanskrit become a global language in future ? why not ?

    • @RamasArrow
      @RamasArrow Год назад +1

      @malayali You are talking as if whole world was speaking English for 4000 years. Rise of English is due to rise of US since 1950s, and globalization. Now, world is moving away from both. Only in India, we have people who are mentally enslaved to english, yet beaten in economy and progress by Japanese. Chinese Koreans and many more who don't speak English.

    • @RamasArrow
      @RamasArrow Год назад

      @malayali 1000 years ago, Indians were trading all over India, and with Greece, Middle East, and south eastern countries. They were exchanging goods, ideas, maths, and science. Guess what ? None of them spoke English. Russians went to space without speaking English. You are still trying with gaganyaan.
      Sanskrit / sanskritised Hindi is the best link language for India. I am not a native Hindi speaker. But I learned Hindi. If you also had done that, we would be interacting in Hindi.
      But the same old mentality. We can accept a foreign language, but not our neighbour's language.
      I think you are not closely watching geopolitics, and trends. Globalisation is dead. infrastructure is not globalization. There is a reason that movies rooted in our culture are becoming blockbusters, and Hollywood wannabes are biting dust. In All over the world, people are discovering their roots.
      Your god, you language, your culture is what defines you. If you lose those three, then what are you ? a faceless robot, following the American ?

    Sanskrita is an extremely inflexible and rigid language with strict rules of pronunciation and grammar and is unable to accept loan words. A language can't be popular if it's inflexible and rigid. Even historically no one spoke Sanskrita. English is popular because it's flexible and willing to take in words from all around the world.

    So the secular founders wanted to de-sanskritize even regional languages? No wonder the likes of Iravatham Mahadevan was able to slyly ply his trade and artificially concoct separate language families.
