@@vcodev108 I use both together sometimes and believe they were created to be used in tandem I would use console first and expanse after. It’s up to you as what sounds good but I like my compression and EQ before my reverb and delay.
Sounds nice, looks flexible. The big question is, will it still be around 5, or even 3, years from now. So many software developers and plug-ins don’t make the long haul between computer hardware and software changes and updates. There’s something to be said for plug-ins like Metric Halo Channel Strip, UAD, Waves SSL E ,and several others… they still work 20 years later. When I’m looking at new plug-ins, I’m also making an assessment now in the viability of the company and their commitment to staying current… not just coming up with something cool and modern. I hope they stay the course in the years to come.
That will be anyone's guess for everything. Also with hardware. With a company like waves you will probably have a big chance it will be fine. Key is , at least with software, to ensre you have very log term compatability is to never ever update. If your system works, stick to it. Or do update and adjust your tools accordingly when they are not supported anymore ( which is what i do, must say there arent that many issues until now)
@@whitenoisestudio Note values are measured in time and freq. So you could measure-calculate-translate a Note subdivision in Hz and ms couldn't you? However the important part of the question was if it has a sync feature which I found out by myself now. Answer is Yes for anyone interested
@@whitenoisestudio so do you think both can be used during mixing and do you use them both if yes first would you use expanse first and then console or whats your order please guide me.
@@vcodev108 You can both ofcourse. Depending on what audio you use I would normally go Console first, expanse after. But get creative and use how you want.
If you watch again, anytime he goes to the "advanced" tab at the bottom of each module, that is a full version feature. In Lifeline Expanse, the advanced tab changes the effects to multiband processing among some other things like "mic 1 and mic 2 levels" on the amp module.
I got a question. Is it like a modern Version of RC-20? I wanted to buy RC 20, but now I am not sure if Lifeline Console is not better then RC for a cheaper price.
RC20 is in my opinion best used for effects , lifeline console is when you want to start mixing. i.e. it is channesltrip versus effects processor ( rc20)
Nah, this song sounds way too lush and has so much depth for a video describing a plugin. Even though I am partially deaf, it just sounds all too real for me!
The best companion to Lifeline Console: Lifeline Expanse: ruclips.net/video/UGQHTlUcEiE/видео.html
What do you think of this new console plugin?
so you mean we can use both together? but during the mixing process which one comes first expanse or console? please share your thoughts.
Life line console lite vs full version ..whats the difference ? ( I'm not looking for a "like" I'm looking for an answer Mr whitenoisestudio
it sounds good but it uses a lot of cpu

Cool review. Thanks. Are the Modulations Daw syncable in Note subdivisions like 1/2, 1/8 etc? Or only in Hz? Thats a thing i greatly miss in Rc20
Sync is basically always based on note values. Otherwise, syncable wouldn't make much sense.

what is the difference between this one and Lifeline Expanse? please help me understand this is really confusing.
This is a channelstrip with ditto modules, lifeline expanse is purely effects only.

But 50 € für RC-20 is still to much for an 8 year old plugin.
