These are the most boringly generic DE dunkles hefes to try to do blind, there are so many great ones… Andechs, Weihenstephaner, Michael Plank, etc… cheers!

Been a hell of a long time since I had the Erdinger but I don't remember it being that quite bad! I gave it a 3.5 but it was in my first year or so of getting into beer. Like you said around 9 mins, I've done the same, not really a style I'd go for now.

I wish you could try that La Trappe Quad... I think that's the best Trappist beer I ever drank... well... since I like it, it's probably not all that good...
