The maiden voyage of The RMS Queen Mary was on May 27, 1936. She was the state of the art transatlantic cruise ship. The ship has carried 2.2 million passengers in peace time and 810,000 military personnel in the Second World War. She is a compelling sight.
The Soviet Union submarine is a foxtrot-class vessel. She also known as the Scorpion.

I wish the submarine could be removed. It is such an eyesore and spoils the grandeur of the Queen Mary.

Or, if is that historically important, move it to its own lagoon with an accompanying placard, dry dock it and fix it up or sell it for scrap.

@@gillygala6880 … I think that it should be preserved because it is part of Cold War history . There are not many static displays of USSR submarines currently in the US…
