So, for those of you who would like an analysis: The wooden houe in the design of fire-art, represents our burning heart that loves life so much. When our heart goes out / or dies / or burns in a fire, we lose everything we love. Therefore we must be thankful to be alive. This song is a praise to life and the only feeling that makes it worthwhile: Love.

United States has the highest rate of arson in the world. More than 300,000 civilians and 100,000 firefighters were seriously injured in fires in 1981, the most recent year in which statistics are available. The value of the property damaged by arson in 1981 was $914 million; 42 percent of those arrested for arson were under the age of 18.15 percent were what he called ''playing with matches'' fire setters, children between the ages of 4 and 8 who were curious about fire and had not been adequately schooled in fire safety.
The ''crying for help'' fire starters, like Jerry, formed 39 percent of those studied. ''These fires seemed to be a child's plea to bring attention to himself or to try to change the family environment,'' said Dr. Wooden of these children, who are often between 6 and 9 years old.
''Delinquent fire starters'' formed 35 percent of the study group. They were mostly preadolescent and adolescent children who had problems with school and authority figures and in relating to peers. Some of these children were social misfits in groups of teen-agers and set fires in an attempt to win the group's approval.
Eleven percent of those studied were classified as ''severely disturbed'' fire starters, children traditionally termed pyromaniacs, those who have an uncontrollable urge to start fires.
Only 14 percent of the juvenile arsonists studied were female. The researchers found that 40 percent of these girls had been sexually abused by fathers, stepfathers or brothers. ''We're not saying that sexual abuse causes arson,'' Dr. Wooden said, ''but that certainly, for these kids, abuse seemed to be a factor.''
A Need for Power and Control
For many juvenile arsonists, ''fire satisfies their need for power and control,'' Dr. Fineman said. ''Frequently these children are relatively unassertive and are passive with peers. Other kids might express their anger more directly: verbally, or by fighting.''
An important implication for treatment is that different kinds of juvenile arsonists should be given different sorts of help. For the ''playing with matches'' fire setters, fire-prevention education in the home and under the auspices of schools and fire departments is quite effective, Dr. Fineman said.
However, ''crying for help'' fire setters require counseling or family-therapy treatment, he said. Jerry, who set fire to his father's pictures, received counseling and the fire-setting behavior ceased.
Psychotherapy for Delinquents
The delinquent fire setters respond best to psychotherapy, Dr. Fineman commented. Inreasingly, these juvenile offenders are being referred to treatment programs set up in conjunction with county probation departments.
A pioneer in treating juvenile arsonists, Dr. Fineman developed the model for the fire-prevention intervention programs that have been set up in 40 states thus far by the United States Fire Administration of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
''People have been saying that juvenile arson is too serious a problem to solve,'' Dr. Fineman said. ''But we've designed effective programs to educate and to treat the majority of these children. We just need to get the word around.''
