    In all my flights through Frankfurt, I never took off on any of the 7s. Always 25 and 18. Very interesting to see this departure.

    A330, der Segelflieger in der Airbus Flotte. Kenne kaum ein anderes Flugzeug, das aerodynamisch so gut ist. Bei speed restrictions von ATC tut man sich echt schwer den Flieger zu bremsen, er wil einfach nur fliegen und dahin gleiten😉

    I always wonder if the A333s at LH have any Center tanks? Some later weight variants with 242t MTOW seem to have those.

      Our A330s do not have the center tank built in.

      well all 3 of those planes have very very similar cockpits and controls... Just different specifications.

    Have you ever had to taxi back to the gate due to being under the minimum takeoff fuel amount?

      Yes, I flew the A320 family, B747-200 and -400. And the A330, of course.😉

      Yes, we are all rated on all variants - A330, A340-300 and -600. ;-)

      @@PapaPaddeback in the days a330 and a340 were one typerating, right? When the changes that, did you need to redo one of them?

      As far as I know, it has always been a common type rating.
      We were trained on one variant first - for me it was the A340 - and after several months flying, a conversion course to the other varaint was due.
      There you had to do several simulator missions and line training before being rated on both.
