After his massive victory, Donald Trump's former chief strategist has thrown a warning at the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for trying to 'destroy the country', and has claimed that once the President-elect assume power, entire agencies will be 'swept out'. Steve Bannon, who worked as a close confidante of Trump in the previous administration, was himself sent to federal prison over his refusal to cooperate with some subpoenas from the congressional subcommittee that were investigating the January 6 Capitol riots. After Trump's win in the polls, Bannon reacted very strongly in a furious speech calling out the federal agencies for trying to 'break people's lives'. Moreover, he also alleged that in the 2020 election that Trump ended up losing, was actually 'stolen from him'.
