The phoenixmon from the spanish regional only fought one numemon: it was the same player in both seeding and the finals

Breakdowns are dope, been playing the deck on the Sim, and just returned to the game this is in the top 3 decks I would build. I only worry for the future meta which is soon... any recommendations to keep this deck meta proof for bt17?

Haven't thought that much about BT17 yet, Gallantmon Crimson Mode Ace does slot to the deck pretty well tbh but I do worry about all the big Aces that are coming. I hope the deck would stay playable and good but I have the fear 😔

Finally watched the video - several times in fact, I really appreciate how in-depth you went with this deck!
In fact, I made the decision to go with the Birds as my first higher tier deck to bring to my local game store. Fortunately, a lot of the cards seem pretty affordable, but I wanted to ask you about X Antibody Proto Form.
I understand that Proto Form is a really good card in this deck and I definitely want to get 2 copies in the future, but seeing as they are currently around 25€ a piece where I am, it's a major investment. Do you think the deck can be viable without them? Maybe with 2 regular X Antibody instead, or something else entirely?

I understand that the price point of Protoform might be problem and I would say normal X Antibody is a okayish replacement. It does change some turns and things you can do because you can't get the -1 evolve cost, but still it can work and it has the advantage that you can't be source stripped out of your PhoenixX effect completely.
I have also seen lists with no X Antibody options (normal or proto), I feel that is kinda strange but I guess it would be doable if you want to try and "slow roll" it more and actually go to your Phoenixmons.
There is much room for personal preference in the deck, so keep testing what works for you!
