In my country 🇿🇦 we have a saying that if you want a job done properly you get an old tradesman. Good to see guys as young as yourselves taking pride in your work and proving that that cliche does not apply to you. Keep up the good work 👏👏
Hello Darren. Just to say ive been in this job for over 35 years and I can see you take a lot of pride in your work and also have a fantastic attitude towards people, your attention to detail is what sets you apart, its somthing Im tending to see less of these days in the younger generation. Im nearing the end of my working days and Im fortunate enough to pick and choose what I want to take on, Ive only ever gone through jobs through word of mouth and never advertised or been on social media platforms, just do your best be firm but fair work will come to you Carry on the good work its good to see the future in safe hands with people like you.
Hi there, love your videos. Just wondering why did you add that black damp proof membrane under the yellow bricks, I thought that's only needed at the bottom of the wall? Also, Why didn't you cut it, left it hanging at the top?
The problem with this roof style is if the window cleaner or uPVC soffit installer just pops their ladder on the roof to get up there will be long term damage and dampness in the extension below
@@darrenthebuilder Always avoid frog down mate, I've been a qualified bricky for 27 years. I guess you know this already, but try to avoid laying frog down, only chancers do that!

@@davebloke829 did I lay one frog down? I must of missed that. I never lay front down
@@darrenthebuilder Sorry, no, it was in reply to the comment before, matey saying frog down all the way, it wasn't aimed at yourself.
Lol I was really confused. I got you 😉
Can you come to my home please
Still no video of flashing installation
Will come soon 😊
You should get a proper bricky in mate save time and you could be getting on with something else
try finding one free in london these days lol
