UPDATE!!! There are 2 important things I need to correct with this video Modal spells are able to be copied, but you cannot choose a different mode with the copy, it has to be the same. With Gale, you can recast an instant or sorcery from your graveyard, you just can’t cast it for free. Sorry for the confusion, and I hope this clears up some confusion!
Thanks for the video! You do a great job breaking everything down and laying it out. I really like what you are doing. One note: when you cast a creature with Offspring the Offspring effect becomes part of the card, and can only be paid for once. So, when you cast Coruscation Mage, pay the Offspring cost, and use Alania's ability, you end up with 2 copies of Coruscation Mage, and 2 Coruscation Mage Offspring tokens. This adds up to 4 possible instances of the effect when you cast a non-creature spell.

One of the deck archetypes I want to build most is defiantly spell slinger. Glad I was able to make this deck list for so cheap to help make affording one easier!
One thing i noticed was that whenever you said you could copy a spell that had an additional cost, you said you had to pay that cost again (such as gifting a treasure or discarding a card) but when you copy the spell, if you payed that additional cost for the initial spell, you dont have to pay it again for the copy.
worth noting gale, waterdeep prodigy doesnt let you cast spells from your graveyard for free, he just lets you cast them again. You still need to pay the costs!
another fact to add to this video ( i see you're already updating): If you cast corruscation mage WITH offpsring, Alania sees it as an otter spell WITH offspring and she's copies it as a whole; meaning: you get two 2/2 corruscation mages with TWO 1/1 copies, aka 4 corruscation mages. just won my game with them last night :)
Offspring cost can only be paid once for each instance of Offspring. You CANNOT make any number of copies of Coruscation Mage by paying that many times 2 mana.

I like the idea of this deck. Group slug really makes game go by quicker, something my pod needs with our 2 hour games 😭

That so true! I completely misread the card, not realizing you still have to pay the mana cost
This is just what I was looking for, just pulled Alania from a pack, can’t wait to build it
