He’s a tank
This is, in my opinion at least, the most mature metalcore song I've heard. Most songs in this genre about this subject matter are angry and resentful while this one sends more of an acceptance and reflection kind of feel. It's easy to be angry at a relationship that had a rough end and wish the ex the worst possible, but it takes a whole new level of strength to wish them a good life even when you know you're never going to see them again.
This song is a masterpiece and these guys deserve to be way more successful than they are.

Just discovered em and they're diversity literally left me with by jaw on the floor. I thought they were just another pop punk until I went through the discography..
It sounds like an amalgamation of every post hardcore band that was poppin in like 2005. This album helped me to scratch an itch that I’ve had for a long time, they’ve reignited my love of music and I’ve been listening to a lot more music than podcasts and stuff like that. Capstan is the most refreshing thing I’ve heard in a really long time.

I've been listening to this song on repeat in the wake of a bittersweet breakup. I listened to it so much I was shook to discover how obscure it is! It's so beautifully crafted, so heartfelt and genuine that I would have thought it was more popular.

Right? I had heard of the band’s debut but had no idea they existed still in 2019. And not only do they exist, they ended up writing my favorite album of the year so far.
