4:30 - I believe the trax need to be wall-to-wall, and snugly fit. You could possibly build a metal frame the height of the tile and roughly 1/4"-1/2" thick and weld it to a thin piece of sheet metal all the way around the edge. The sheet metal should sit under the tiles by roughly 2' (or at least 2 tiles), and the sheet metal needs to be thin so the edges don't sit noticeably higher. Maybe paint the frame satin black to keep the aesthetic. No sheet metal should be visible outside the tiles/frame. Then make sure the tiles fit snugly inside the frame. The fundamental problem is they have to much give when compressed and shifted. I would research from the manufacturer just how snug the tiles should be though. Some play in the tile may be needed to lessen stress on a single point and avoid them from cracking. Just an idea, however, I am no flooring expert.
