I haven't had a heat issue with my current design. The cells run at about 180* max. I'm not convinced a pwm is needed. Also, one cell seems to put out more than this design does while drawing only 4.6A I am beginning to believe electrolyte is key!
When you increased the frequency in the video, did the current decrease from 30A by any chance? Im trying to work out if its more or less efficient to run at a higher frequency. :) Im building a similar circuit to control an electric motor in an EV.
The electrode on the right is loose so we can hear the duty cycle -- OK. But doesn't that also create an electrical spark just inches from hydrogen gas?! Maybe I'm being too cautions, but I would say that's just asking for trouble.
I have PWM unit that indicates Power plus, Power minus and Motor plus, Motor minus. How do I hook this up to my Dry cell and digital Volt/Amp meter that has only three wire. Please advise! Thanks

yes but those are called rheostats and you may find them with such current handling and more on underground mine trains,where they usually are about a meter or bit taller and the diameter is under half meter and they weigh several kg and usually get red hot during operation and the slide on the wirewound body is moved by a crank.they get red hot during their operation and they control the current of the train's motor.dont know about you,but it wouldnt seem a good idea to stick one on a car.
nice power supply I like the idea of using something like that for a battery charger using solar. what voltage is that for. I like to get one that will take 40 to 60 volts in and put out 28.8 volts out all the time. I have see that usuing a PWM for charging batteries is better for keepign the cell plates clean an make the battries last longer.. how hight of a current do you have in those I guess I need to look at your website lol. nice video.

If the PWM controller was triggered by a relay and the speed was set when it was not powered by the relay, would it soft start the fan and bring it up to the preset speed when power was supplied by the relay? Soooo... who wants to know if you get extra mileage or not? the answer is yes, depending on many factors like how fast you are driving. But let me make this clear, its not much improvement. otherwise it would be in every car today. So why does it improve at all? because the internal combustion engine is not efficiently used 100% during a trip. to make things worse, the internal combustion engine itself is only 30% efficient at best...

This guy is absolutely right. Great care is needed when experimenting with HHO. Always error on the side of safety.

I make a some 555 pwm for hho and it’s working great but I don’t like how 35 amp rating mosfet get so hot at at 6amp in 1 hour
are you not worried about the H2 developing and a possible spark from a loose terminal??
