    Love your methodical approach. Would like to see a video focused on testing all the popular upscalers (and maybe even less popular ones) that are native to A1111 as well as from the upscale wiki, using "none" as the control. Test them for different applications - portrait, landscape, etc. Would help a lot if you can also provide your own subjective opinion and recommendations based on these tests.

      That's a good idea. Even looking at the page with all the upscaler models is kind of overwhelming so I'm sure it would help a lot of people

    Much appreciated, now I understand why it took me ages to inpaint something on an output image when only selecting "only masked" and not adjusting the size

    Cool video, you should perhaps mentioned the "out of focus" effect when it comes to inpainting in "masked only", I'm still struggling a bit on this one, even when changing the pixel padding

    You should talk about the setting _inpainting conditioning mask strength;_ on non-inpainting checkpoints, when it is set at or near 0, it dramatically reduces-or even eliminates-the “seam” that can show up on inpainting masks, while also making the unpainted section match the style and such of the whole image much better… though, the setting is a bit hidden since you have to go into settings to find it. Honestly, because the setting affects so much, I really think it should be a default setting that is already _in_ the img2img inpainting section…

    I have a quick question about inpainting and hope someone can help me.
    After painting the mask and generating the new image, the exact area of the mask has a slightly grey-tone on top of the new generated portion of the image (like the mask didn't get replaced fully with new content and is placed as a partly transparent layer on top of the repainteing)
    Anyone has a clou? I tested several settings and nothing seems to solve this.

      @joelchamp1949 11 месяцев назад

      Did you resolve this? I have the same issue, the mask leaves a purplish tone in the generated image.

      @@joelchamp1949 unfortunately no, but i haven't had the time to test it, if i have a solution i will remind myself to post it here ^^

      @@joelchamp1949 it seem i have solved the problem (or i hope so), all i did was to set "Only masked paading pixels" from the original value of 32 down to around 20 to 24 (you probably can go even lower?)

    A video that goes over some of your favorite extensions would be neat. There's so many neat ones to pick from just from the "available" section alone, it's kinda overwhelming ;w;

    I think it's far more just getting lucky than people want to admit. I've masked out the person's shirt because it's just a t-shirt and I want the shirt to be a different style. I changed the prompt (haven't seen anything saying this won't work) to the specific clothing item and it doesn't even come close to getting it right.
