- Last time I pranked the boys by telling them we were going to the dentist but surprised them with Disneyland... well... 8 months later let's try this again. Except this time I'm going to tell them we are going to the park and stopping at Starbucks on the way, but really we are going to the airport to fly to Legoland for their 10th & 8th birthday trip!

The next time they have a real dentist appointment you should pack a suitcase then tell the boys ahead of time that you’re taking them to Disney. Then just drive to the dentist! You’ll have them really confused and it’ll make it easier to trick them next time.🤣

I feel like every surprise that involves three kids has the “I know what you’re up to” one, the in between “I think it’s happening but don’t want to get my hopes up” one, and the “that’s definitely not what’s happening” one. 💀
Kyson’s better at lying about the lie that he doesn’t know is really a lie than jess is at lying about the lie she made 😂
Seeing all the thoughtful surprises, trips, and just holidays in general that Jess makes happen for her family makes me so happy & jealous at the same time 🥺 I’m so happy for those kids, they are having the best childhood and they don’t even realize it yet (even tho they are all so grateful for everything they do!) and I’m jealous because I was raised by a single dad, at 13 I had to step up and act like a mom to my brother who was 4years old. So I had to grow up fast & didn’t get cute surprises, fun holidays or any vacations. I strive to be the type of mom Jess is whenever I have babies
I love how Landen has never been to Lego Land and he has two twin older brothers to help guide him around the park for the best experience which is something not a lot of families on youtube get to really showcase and it's really cool that your Fam is like that! :)

Took my 2 kids to lego land for the first time in Jan and it was so fun. There is so much to look at just at the hotel alone. Seeing the hotel brings back so many memories. Have fun and and stay safe.

Hey Jess! You can tell the boys that when we lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada, we would take our girls to the airport for Starbucks and then to the flight observation desk to watch the planes go one in!! So yes you can go to Starbucks at the airport without traveling and have fun!!

The next time you want to do this is take them to the airport, show them a fake letter about making a report about airports/airplanes, say something about going to watch what goes on, etc. I don't know how far you can go inside airports now, but maybe you could go early enough to watch from a distance, etc. then surprise them with a trip, YOU"RE THE BEST!!
