I'm obsessed with solo sting/vocal libraries. I forked out some big bucks during sale season for Chris Hein's Extended solo collection and most of them are absolutely gorgeous. Worth consideration for your next bigger purchase. Appreciate the videos man!
That swell in Audio Imperia's Solo can indeed be a massive pain when you don't want it. While it's welcome (given the single dynamic layer), it's perhaps a tad too aggressive.
Thank you Christopher for your amazing reviews and your top picks. Really enjoyed it! As it comes to Violin and Cello, nothing could ever compare to Joshua Bell Violin and Tina Guo for me personally. 🖤
a good sunday morning Christopher,i always buy these big expensive libraries when they have a big sale like on native instruments or audio plugin deals, btw, you played the first notes from can you read my mind from superman with the OT oboe lol,i almost know every musical movie score in existence but otherwise i'm terrible in remebering certain things, strange heh lmao, cheers m8
Do you still use Joshua Bell? Might’ve missed it if you mentioned it in passing. To my ears the bohemian violin is far superior to any competitor in just sounding like a played violin tbh. Not a massive fan of the tone of the AI Solo vocalists personally, but that whole library is a very simple and easy to use set of solo instruments which barely use any memory, it’s great.
It's great to hear these libraries in a detailed manner...Thank you Christopher....cheers !!!
My pleasure!

Very cool!
I'm considering purchasing just the Cello in Tableau Solo Strings, do you think it's worth it or should I save up to get something like CSSS?

Thanks for sharing Arnas!
Have you tried bohemian violin arnas?
@@marLamaDeo Oh yeah, I've tried that one as well, but since I got Joshua Bell I didn't look back ever since.
@@arnaspanic Ah right. I wonder why I didn’t get a notification from your reply but I do for others, youtube is confusing
Ooh I got this notification hahah
Oh, man...what a time to be alive.
:)
I always wonder why nobody is talking about the Majestic Horn by Orchestral Tools. It's one of the best solo horns I've heard and it is just 2€
If I had it, I’d definitely include it I’m sure 😄
Yeah i have it. Best horn ever. Wish they fixed it up & created dynamic layers cos it’s absolutely the best.
Oh it is fantastic!
Ahh... CSS = Christopher "Strings" Siu?
I think we found a winner 😆
@@ChristopherSiu 😂
Lol love that

I still do at times! Will be releasing something soon using it.
Have you played around with OT Igudesman?
Nope! Not quite the right fit for me.
Hi Christopher! You did not include the Spitfire Solo Strings.
Don't have those myself.
Thought you were playing Goodbye to a World at 2:22
😅
