i think this might be the textbook "yasuified" touhou song to ever exist
it's not substantially different from the original in tone, but you can tell what makes it distinctly yasui in how it's mixed in general, and in the second loop of the chorus
stuff like this is really useful when trying to be analytical
but also i'm just takin in the sweet FM

there's also the album Touhou Gensou Shiten "banquet", which has Jun.A and several secret artists using one-off aliases. one of them is called P.C.B, and their work sounds VERY yasui - so it's likely to be him

@@armaldoaster97 needed a few months to process a proper response
While the FM bass is used in many different genres of music, one standout use was in most songs in the Sonic the Hedgehog lineage of classic games.
Sonic, and by association the Sega lineup of classic (fourth/fifth gen) consoles were distinct in that one of the most common bass lines used in Genesis/Master system songs would be FM basses, distinguishing the lineup of Sonic and Genesis music from that of the other giants of the 16-bit era.
Hence why any pop culture uses of the FM bass, most particularly in collusion with video game/anime culture, might be misattributed to sounding similar to the classic Sonic lineup due to its standout use of said instrument.
