Nick Hancock presents the sports quiz implanted with chicken brains, with regular team captain Gary Lineker and his sidekick Rory McGrath. David Gower is away at his day job, commentating on how bad the English cricket team are playing in South Africa, so in his place is former snooker world champion Steve Davis, in the first of ten appearances as a guest captain. Steve is joined by David's wing-man Jonathan Ross. And joining the teams are comedian Arthur Smith and long distance runner and future London Marathon winner Paula Radcliffe.
In this episode, Chelsea midfielder Jody Morris mistakes a trumpet for a trombone, Wossy "hynoptises" Arthur, and Steve smells some pine.

I loved whenever Steve was on and said something dull yet unexpected, so much so that Nick laughed uncontrollably for 30 seconds afterwards. See also "They don't call me Steve for nothing."
