The moon is beautiful tonight in China, by the way! This message has come at the right time! I have a needy sometimes friend who doesn’t seem to have anyone to spend Christmas with this year. I have my own plans, but unlike last year, she wants to spend Christmas with me this year. I do feel sorry for her, but should I be giving up my Christmas plans for her?
Hello Lisa thank you for watching and sharing this. It can be slightly tricky to answer this as every circumstance is different and I dont know the friend on personal level. But I do know its ok to put oneself first, especially if already made plans so long as it will no put others at risks. We shouldn't feel guilty for other people's circumstances. At the same time it can be an act of kindness and a one off during the festive period to offer company. It's not so simple and apologies if I have not helpfed to find some clarity on this. I hope you find it within you to do what feels right. ❤️
@ Thank you for your thoughts. I’m still sitting on the fence as to which way I should go, as none of Christmas plans are concrete yet. I’ll see this woman tomorrow at a work social outing, so maybe I’ll get some more clarity on the issue then. I’m still conflicted, so as you say, I need to do what feels right.
Hello, thank you for your video it is explanatory and really helpfull :). I have a question: When I encounter a situation where someone crosses my line and tries to take advantage of me or acts selfishly, I feel superior and put up walls.I don't know where to stay what to say. So I started to not to talk to them. I know this is not the solution but I don't know how to act in this kind of solutions, what can I do?
