Has kinggath released a Faceripper tutorial yet? I would love to transfer appearances into an existing .esp I am working on, but cannot get it figured out.
hey king gath I got confused because I cant find a way to actually load the save esp back onto creation kit once Ive closed out of it to add on to my progress, how do you actually load the save esp you make of all the changes?
Fun Fact: The Fallout 4 Creation Kit allows any NPC to use the same voicetype as the player. 👍 Very interesting yet it can be pulled off as the files are uniquely named to the exact sentence that a NPC will say. Here is testing footage for the Synth Nate Companion Mod: ruclips.net/video/tc3abVahX-I/видео.html
I'm having trouble with this. I followed all the steps, but when I talk to my character no voice lines play. In addition, the app crashes every time I enter certain parts of the Dialogue menu of my character. Does anyone know of anything that could help me?
Aww man, I'm super bummed that the RoboVoice doesn't do anything... I don't know how I'm gonna replicate a Protectron voice. Anyways, thanks so much for this. Helped me out a lot!
kinggath Thank you, that would be very interesting. I can probably synthesize something that comes close in a DAW, but the main reason I was hoping the RoboVoice would work is because a built-in tool that doesn’t require me to use a separate piece of software would be much more efficient. So I’m pretty curious to see what techniques your sound guy uses.
So I managed to synthesize a protectron voice that I'm happy with. If anyone is curious to see the project/FX processing chain let me know. Here is an example: ruclips.net/video/uZuUYgzippg/видео.html For anyone looking to do the same thing here's what I did (you will need a DAW): Used a speech synthesizer. I used the one that comes with FL Studio. Automated the pitch for inflections, so that the speech isn't monotone. I set my root key of the speech synth to G. Run through an FX chain. Frequency shifter, shifting it down by 200hz. VocalSynth2 with only the polyvox setting. Pitch correction disabled. There are free alts but I haven't tried them. Then into a multiband compressor with a de-esser. Normal compressor set to catch just some peaks. EQ cutting out sub frequencies. Another EQ with a low and hi cut, focusing the signal to the mids/upper mids. Simulated a sort of "speaker" environment. It doesn't sound exactly like the protectrons, but it's believable enough I think. It'll do for what I plan on doing. Would still LOVE to see how your sound guy does it. Always open to new techniques.
I have a question for you, can you use pre-recorded voice files for dialogue, I am using a stand alone program to create the files but they are saved in MP3 format, I would like to use these in a mod I am creating for an none NPC dialogue, just like that is used in Nuka World in the Galactic zone when the voice comes over the speakers, it is done there so the process is possible although I cannot find a tutorial that shows me how to do it, and all the quests in the creation kit shows nothing in the quests. I would be grateful if you could help.
You need to convert from mp3 to wav, using something like Audacity. I can add talking objects to my list of future tutorial topics, but if you find the nukaworld quest responsible for the scene you're thinking of, you should be able to reverse engineer it if you have gone through and understand my dialog tutorials.
@@kinggath The problem I get is when I look at the stages in the quest (I am looking at DLC04MQ01 which is the gauntlet quest) all I get in the papyrus fragment is ;Failed to load code for fragment Fragment_Stage_" so I cannot reverse engineer these stages, this happens with most of the quests, am I doing something wrong. I realized shortly after making this post that I should convert mp3 to wave which I did using Audacity, but reverse engineering the quests is a little beyond me I am afraid, so if you could add that to your tutorials I for one would be very grateful.

I hope you decide to make a custom NPC of yourself for Sim Settlements, it would be awesome to come across you in game in some way.
Peter Drew I would add him to raider gang just to hear his lines lol
command dialogue is used in holdupquest

I'll ask our sound guy if he'd be up for doing tutorials on emulating the various robots in Fallout.

Anyone know how to get the rust devil faction for conqueror
James Belton I think it’s part of a pack. He mentions it in one of his conquer guides. That’s the only lead I got
@@nerdzanator I'm sure he said it is part of the industrial revolution and I have the 3 in one version.
Industrial City. It's a mod by mytigio.
@@kinggath thank You!
