I just finished the DD7 Legendary section with Shadow King (5Y 2R), he did better than I expected. Survived better than Kestrel (2D) and Ultimus (3D), and helped clean up a bunch of enemies in between his turns.
with New era stats I would say in A-tier tbh if you are using her right now. Definitely worth getting up to the yellows that you have but shes also not available just now.
I’ve had a 3 diamond hulk since he was available. He’s still way too squishy. I’m at the point where I have to decide if I want a 7 red Mephisto or old man Logan. What are y’all’s thoughts?
Honestly u cant lose either way. They are both top 5 toons. I got lucky with the mephisto orbs and got a 7 and he's been amazing, currently waiting to take Logan to 7 so I can't comment on the diff 7 makes to him. I would say if u use one more than the other then u have ur answer. Also if ur an arena guy, mephisto would be prob the logical choice as he's likely to be arena meta for a while
does anyone know if the coding works in favor of having end game thanos in room 1 on cc? I have him as striker and i don’t wanna change it unless his 50% hp passive actually gets buffed in that room
Ultimus was the first character I ever put diamonds on. Your right they were cheap which was why I did that and then he collected dust and I didn’t put anything else into him until the annihilators. I say that to say it’s probably worth getting the reds and a diamond or two on characters even if they aren’t meta or limited to no use because when they do rework or incorporate them into new teams your gana regret not having the reds/diamonds. Especially these new characters when you can get a diamond or two via the events/milestones

But as you said, credits don’t come fast so we’d better preserve it for a character that is matters which might come out in the future, shouldn’t we? Did I misunderstand something there?
Ah haha you are missing the one character I was wondering about, zombie witch! I have her at 4ys and not sure if I should but some rs on her or not when they are released.
Odin, Meph, OML are top DPC. For me it is Odin as i missed him for seven reds. OML worthy of Diamond 3 skrull and Apoc fell off. D3 Apoc needs a buff hate to say it. D3 Skrull is just a waste of resources unless you were a kraken with them already
I never understood why Kestral even tho being a DD toon isn't a Dark promo toon..🤷🏼 Also I'm 1 shard away from upgrading Captain Britain to 7yellow stars & i refuse to even think about buying it 🤦🤣
Someone tried Out of Time against my Annihilators Skrull Kahhori comp and they lost. They got Kahhori into the yellow but she healed up and won the fight. They took a second hit and won and it took an odin comp to kill them on the 3rd attempt. My Kahhori is 4 star g19 purple iso 3. The BK was a 2 diamomd and he couldnt kill her.
I really think that red stars on mephisto are overrated. So much of his power is tied to his empowered ability and battlefield field effect which aren’t affected by base stats, to the point that if he is double exhausted he basically does nothing while he gets rolled over (and if on offence will himself roll almost any defence). Don’t get me wrong - I pulled 6 red from his orb and was happy to, but there is no question that I would rather save all my dpcs from here for Odin than spend 10k to get a 7r mephisto. Unless there is a big meta shift to the point where mephisto base stats actually become relevant, or where dpcs get literally rained on us, I can’t see myself taking him to 7r.

Red Hulk and Dr Doom I personally think will get a rework with upcoming MCU movies. I don't think they will create new ones given their status so that is the only reason I would consider boosting them more than I have them now
