Well demonstrated. Thanks for sharing your expertise. Just wondering how long will creeping jenny survive in water? I would like to grow it indoors in water.
I’m not sure about that because I planted them in soil once there were enough roots. However, others have planted it in aquariums and ponds as aquatic plants.
Thank you for tutorial. One more question: if I pulled some sprouts from soil and plant has some roots, but not too many, what do I need to do - plant immediately to the soil or let them soak in water until plant will develop more roots?
@@rockyk9316 That’s a good question. I would advise that you plant it back in the soil because it has already gotten more used to that media. If soaked in water, it would have to get used to that new media.
Hi! I cut my creeping Jenny, cut off some of the leaves & put the stems in a cup of water in the house. The day after, my creeping Jenny is very wilted. Is it dying? Should I keep the cup inside the house or in the sunshine while the little roots try to grow?
I have not done that myself but others leave them in aquariums. So I think leaving them in water is fine. I just don’t know whether being in soil or water would have longer life span. 😊
excellent! Just what I was looking for. Thank you! This is a great plant for pots - always adds to display.
Thank you for showing your technique.
Excellent video, told me everything I was looking for, thank you.
You’re welcome! Thank you! ☺️
Have an excess of this plant in my aquariums. Definitely going to pot some now. Ty so much for the idea even though I’m going a bit backwards 😂 ❤
You’re welcome! I love how they look on pots. 🥰

@@joannebalanay Ok, Thank you!
i am so going to try this.
That's a beautiful plants.
where do you keep the jar of cuttings in water? indirect light? :D
I keep them near a window in indirect sunlight.
Thank you!
If you pot only one cuttings,it will become a full plant or I need to pot more cuttings in the same pot? Thanks
@@dianabilan9199 It may take a long time for it to become a full plant if only 1 cutting. I would recommend planting more cuttings in 1 pot.

Keep the cup inside with indirect sunlight.
@@joannebalanay I might try again because I have more to take from outside. Thank you very much!
Could I just leave them in water? Would that be a problem? Or would that shorten their life span or stunt their growth? Cheers!

I did this but next morning they wilted. Too much sun? Had em in east window.
