God bless you !!!!
I didn't know about the abandoned schools that's a good idea. I'm not sure how the city would feel about it, but I imagine they will want people to manage it so it doesn't get too outta hand?
Glad to hear Angela, you definitely should! Your story deserves to be told and people need to know the truth. + Who knows who it can inspire :) Thanks for watching!
Listen it's a new year and never in my life I never thought I would go there this experience. I'm in Chicago and ghee it's a struggle. I been loving on the edge for the last few years living with people I didn't know and at what airpore you stayed at at O'Hare ???? Shelters don't work
Hey Jalen, I'm sorry to hear you're going through all of that, especially in Chi. Yes I was at O'Hare but honestly not sure if they started cracking down on it more, have you tried it there? Let me know how you've been since you posted this 🙏🏾
Wow I moved to Chicago in 2020 and I was working at Door Dash I also did part time work at a Grocery company that laid me off it was terrible cause I went broke in the middle of winter. A lot of businesses were closed down when I moved there. I have been all over this country in the past three years. I am currently stuck in California
Which part of California are you? But yeah unfortunately COVID affected so much and it still is. I also feel like with a lot of the major cities it's hard to stay afloat because cost of living is crazy. Hope your situation improves 🙏🏾
Hey Nancy! Our website is the best place, but it isn't up right now. If you have Instagram you can still view our past items and message us to buy something. Right now we only have the "Take a Guess" Bag available. In general we restore and customize used clothes, shoes, bags, etc We get them either from someone's closet (local or if they want to send something in) or items we buy/find that need TLC. We have a special line / some new pieces coming soon! Stay tuned 🙃
I have tried to help out a nice young woman with a little boy we have been texting each other for three years now I have sent her money like 5 thousand dollars two years ago and just recently we had an agreement that I would send her money so she could come down here in Australia Melbourne to live with me and if she didn’t like me she could go back home again she is a good mom and I am still supporting her god bless you all over there
Wow that’s very generous of you 🧡. As long as it’s not inconveniencing you or overburdening you, right on. It takes a lot to support someone you don’t know; you have a big heart. Blessings to both you and her 🙏
Sounds to me she gave up a stable job, pursued her dream, and quickly became homeless. I would think financial stability should have been a common-sense priority when she had her career instead of going broke by "finding herself". She essentially chose her situation by trading financial security with her version of freedom. I could have gotten in the same situation as her during the early part of my career when I had little money. Instead I stuck with less than ideal employment and made my primary goal financially solvency. It all depends on what you really want.
Hi, Nico here 👋🏾. Thanks for your comment and analysis. While its true, it doesn’t take into account the full picture. Money is just the tip of the iceberg for me and many other homeless people. Most of our issues stem from psychological, familial patterns, insecurity, etc. Taking this journey allowed me to go back to my roots as a Caribbean immigrant and understand poverty from my family’s perspective. I disliked what I was doing, I had survivors guilt (being an immigrant and the youngest of 9, who was the only one to get a US visa out of my siblings) and I realized I was only satisfying others expectation to be worth the sacrifice. Everything I prided myself (my career, discipline, etc) was rooted in people pleasing. If I didn’t take this journey of finding myself, I wouldn’t have known what I wanted to create and how I wanted to show up in the world, so I regret nothing. (Everyone had their moment in 2020 with COVID, mine was in 2017.) Sometimes you need to take a few steps back, dig up your roots and to move forward with a different foundation. I believe when you know yourself, you can show up better and serve yourself/others with more joy, and the money will only add to that. That’s what my journey & this brand is about, I pray that you stick around to see it’s evolution. Bless Up 🙏🏾🧡
Miguel you are right in a way haha. Think about all the aspiring artist like myself who left home to find something different and follow their dreams. Some people leave with plans, some without it. Some run into issues and have a hard time getting back on track. Every person's unique journey is just as you described: artwork :) Please be reminded though, this probably isn't the typical story for homelessness, and there are many reasons why someone could become so. The more we know about the problem and the different faces of it, the more equipped we are to find solutions. Thank you for watching! 🧡
I have been looking after my woman and she has a little boy I have been blocked again because of my comment about your life on the street l have been on line dating for three years now with this woman and I am planning to come over there next year to marry her and give her a better life than what she has now I send her money to help her out with her bills and rent
Wow I was hanging on every word you said, blessings 💕🙏
Wow I'm glad to hear! Thanks for watching and blessings to you too 🧡

We need to open up the abandoned schools. There's hundreds of them with hundreds of class rooms to pitch a tent in
