I have hyper mobility, which means I had these grinding sounds, but when I strengthened the muscles in my shoulders it went away (advised by a physical therapist), so if any of you guys have this, give it a go.
I haven't went for any advise about my grinding shoulders but I can agree that strengthening my shoulders helps. When I'm not exercising them at all it hurts again yea
There were no pops from that, in the first one that's the sound of the drop table. There's literally no sound in the 2nd one because the table doesn't drop twice
I had this issue for 8 years, and was passed around to many doctors before one could finally give me an answer. He called it snapping scapula syndrome, which is where the scapula catches on your ribcage when you move the affected shoulder. I ended up having a partial scapulectomy due to the severity of my popping (it was in my dominant arm and caused a lot of pain and discomfort), but I would keep bringing this issue up if it is discomforting. They provide a few treatment options besides removal. Hydrocortisone shots, and physical therapy are both great alternatives. PT is more for someone that has had this issue for a shorter duration of time, though. Fix it while you're still early in, because while the shots or surgery can be beneficial, they are still decently painful. OP I'm sorry to hear that you've been dealing with this for so long.. I would definitely be checking to see if you have arthritis or even bursitis 💔 Best of luck to you in finding some answers, and never settle for being told that you're "fine".
Have that since a decade. It hurts so much and doctors are just like "but you're young? Just move more". As if I hollow up in a cave or something. -.- we all need a good doc, maybe not chiro, first starting with an orthopaedic maybe.
@@koljavayou guys may have what is called shoulder impingement. Look it up. Definitely fixable, but the longer you wait, the worse it gets. Has to deal with your rotator cuff. There are exercises & stretches that help alleviate it. Also ibuprofen and icing the shoulder helps as well. Your shoulder has become inflamed and those tendons can’t move as freely, hence the grinding. I got this about a month ago from playing golf, and am now just feeling like I’m back to normal.
Listen to what your body tells you and you can be your own chiropractor. I might not know all the terminology but I know what I need to do to crack my back. Sometimes it takes weeks or months of loosening up an area (I do factory work so constantly moving and lifting) massaging it up against walls and chairs before it can finally crack.
I have something very similar to this. Called snapping scapula syndrome, which is where theres no muscle underneath the scapula so it grinds across your ribcage.

I have tendon issues of some unholy variety (Dr has no idea, gave it some generic instability diagnoses and moved on, PT said it was tendons, we’re all confused) and my shoulder does like that. It pops half out of socket all the time, even after PT, and I just tense up all my muscles to push it back in place, stuff my hand in my pocket, and go about my day
My parents are chiropractors like him so im used to most of the stuff he did but when he lifted his legs and cracked his back that gave me tingles down my back because ive never seen them do that
I have the same thing on my left shoulder, even got this weird huge bone that sticks out that's completely absent on my right side. It never hurt until I became an adult and now the grinding is extremely painful after a few times
I've been seeing a chiropractor for over a year and have been asking her to help with my shoulder clicking and grinding sound. Man do I wish I could find a chiropractor to fix me like this guy. Biggest knots in shoulders and neck area and shoulders just click and grind when lifting arms up and down.
I have exactly like that on my left shoulder. Just not as loud but almost at that level. My chiropractor doesn’t care. She only does the same thing every time. Time to look for another one.
I have this same sound in my neck. Thank God I start therapy on Tuesday. My C5 lays on C6 and C6 onto C7. I can hear the clicking/crackling in my ears when I try to move my head from side to side. It hurts soooo bad it radiates up into my head causing a burning sensation in my head and ears.
The way he lifted his legs up like that makes me wonder how there isn’t a chiropractor type fatality in Mortal Kombat yet, like in MK1 with the holiday fatalities
