    Thank you so much for these recordings. One suggestion though: If you replaced “ plays “ (six chars) with “: “ (a single semi-colon, 2 chars) on all of these postings, you would get back four characters, just enough to be able to see which quartet was played in the posting. Right now they all just end with “N”. in the interface, and if I want to find a particular quartet, I just have to keep poking until I hit the right one.

    Quite often in his late works, Shostakovich seems to want to refer to Wagner's "Tristan" prelude, and in his 15th symphony, he actually does.
