New partner! We now have a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealership! Our first review will be on the loaded 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited! As always, please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE and COMMENT below if you enjoyed :)
The styling of the grand Cherokee it’s masculine and looks good and the interiors are simple but extremely functional and easy to use everything especially the infotainment system. There are a lot of trim levels to this vehicle which fits a lot of different people’s needs and wants.
Sad to see all these negative comments on here I've had 4 Jeep Grand Cherokees and yes 80's 90's they were horrible trust me but they have improved greatly as they have moved into the late 2000s. The quality has gotten much better. Transmission and suspension are much-improved. The new V6 is a fantastic motor although I will go with the V8 because I need the additional pulling power. In general I really like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, maybe I've been lucky maybe the negative reviewers here have not been so lucky. To the people who purchase the Jeep brand new and had tons of issues get an attorney file a lemon law lawsuit, trust me it works.
Very hardy SUV and reliable !! I have a request if you are in contact with representatives of a Jeep, then tell them for Russia they made the most reliable jeep! There is one Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2013 with a 3.6 engine, it has a mileage of almost 800,000 thousand kilometers or 497,096,954 thousand miles !! Not a problem except a broken gearbox !!
this video was posted on my 20th birthday. I'm considering buying a grand Cherokee in December and am grateful for this video. helped me compare the laredo to the limited with complete understanding and ease. thank you for such a great and in depth video
As an owner of a 2018 Overland, I’m at a loss in understanding why Jeep got rid of the gas cap. This new system doesn’t ventilate very well so the gas filler nozzle cuts out prematurely
Jeeps are fun cars. I would recommend leasing them since they are pretty low quality. I leased my last one and it was a maintenance nightmare. The air conditioning broke, the power windows broke, the brake rotors had to be replaced every 7,000 miles (my brakes usually last 50,000), the fuel gauge broke, etc. I was glad that it was all under warranty. I turned it in at the end of the lease and was glad that I wasn't stuck with it!
Really that’s awful. I have a 2014 bought new, has almost 146k on it. Regular maintenance, nothing broken or engine issues. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones
I've got 2015 jeep gc laredo, but it has the 3.0L diesel and it is trail rated so it also comes with air suspension. So u can get 3.0l diesel on laredos😁
Until I saw this video, I thought the only interior color you could get was black. They rarely show anything but black and that's not at all my taste. Nice review. Very in depth!
I really enjoy your reviews. Thanks for doing all the research, and for your professionalism! Thinking about getting the Grand Cherokee Summit but also considering the Volvo XC60 and the Audi Q5.
+Gal Ret Thanks, we appreciate that! And good luck deciding! They are all 3 very nice but very different vehicles (and we have videos on both of them if you want to check it out)!
Why did Jeep.change from.the electronic shifter back to a conventional one. All other luxury cars have the electronic version. Does the one Jeep used on 2014-2015 models have a lot of problems/issues?
Reliability is definitely an issue. I have a 2015 and have had transmission shifting issues since day one. First I was told the transmission would learn how I drove. Then numerous software updates were done. This didn't help. Then the trans valve body was replaced. Still had shifting issues. Most recently the entire transmission was replaced at 12,000 miles. Buyer Beware!!!
Robert someone lied to you if they told you the trans would learn how you drove. Why they did it I have no idea why since the factory warranty would cover that. You bought it used probably from some shabby dealership. The car was probably bought from an auction if it was used. At an auction you never know what you get as the buyer for the dealer. I had a 2012 Benz C350 that had clogged up sunroof drains and others that flooded the car and it just shit on me. It had 28k miles. Some Idiot bought it at an auction because it was impeccable. Not a scratch or ding anywhere. It looked showroom know. But the water fried the whole electrical system and to fix it Mercedes told me it would be anywhere between 17-20 k. Point being is that someone bought that car and had no idea because it was used even though it looked amazing. Thats what happened to you. So basically if you can't afford the car new don't buy it used either
Excellent review, was expecting a test drive when I read 'full' review. As for the car I have to praise Chrysler for the design, hope the reliability takes the same direction.
I only drove the limited and Laredo and I like the limited because it feels like it has a more of a classy look but the seats are HORRIBLE but Laredo has that rugged look but very comfortable, looking forward in driving more versions of the Grand Cherokee.
The Grand Cherokee is, indeed, a very nice SUV to drive or ride in. I'm sure this Limited is no less to appreciate. However, it's a shame that FCA has terrible reliability ratings with all of their vehicles, including the Jeep's and their stablemates, the Dodge's. Anyway, I enjoyed the video.
Review a V6 Dodge Durango to compare to other 3-row crossovers like Explorer, Pilot, Pathfinder, Highlander, and VW Atlas. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
thanks for your response. in your perspective, can you categorize the following trims for me please from the best to very best and finally extremely best: overland, laredo, summit, trailhawk and trackhack. thanks
@@fadeyititusolakunle1598 If you check the video description, you will find a list of all the trims in order with prices. Trackhawk sits at the top of the lineup with a 700 hp engine. Thanks!
I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I love the vehicle and absolutely hate the stop/start technology. My friend told me that it's now on his Ford and I see the 2019 GMC/Chevy Silverado will also have it. I had a 2013 Toyota Avalon hybrid and it was seamless from electric to gas. 5 years later...... I have a new vehicle that has this terrible stop/start technology. It changes your driving habits and you will soon learn how often you will turn your car off and this thing auto resets. You will start taking your foot off the gas at intersections to make sure your vehicle doesn't turn off and you will then take your eyes off the road to see if you turned the dumb button on. I will either need to go European or back to Toyota as they mastered this. I can't tell you how much I hate this feature!

Easily one of my favorite suvs. But why is it so hard to find one with the rear entertainment package?
Can anyone tell me why this light on my dash came on it’s the A with a circle around it white an exclamation next to it. Thanks for your help.
Could you do a video specifically on the 2018 Summit?
+Caleb Roderick If we get one, yes. Thanks for watching!

Was this warranty work?
Great review I’m ordering a 2019 limited. Where is your Chrysler U connect video?
Thanks! And congrats! We never got around to making the UConnect video unfortunately ☹️
Car Confections ok .. you could I’d watch. I’m sure others would too.
The limited comes with rear infotainment?
good review

I really do love the Cherokee and look forward to owning one shortly
Diesel figures - 7 litre per 100km solo hwy , 17 litre 100km towing max weight
can you do a review on 2017 hundyia accent?
+Why are you always lying? We will probably film a 2018 model when it comes out
Finally! Some decent bumper music. I am so tired of techno music in car videos.
My messaging feature doesn’t light up, please help

David Wolf The 5.7 Hemi should give you much less to worry about mechanically. They are proven.
Hey Car Confections, what about the SRT8?
We are going to save the high performance models for a separate video! Hopefully we will even be able to film the new Trackhawk!
Review a V6 Dodge Durango to compare to other 3-row crossovers like Explorer, Pilot, Pathfinder, Highlander, and VW Atlas. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
That's on the agenda, so stay tuned! And we're glad you liked it :)
