Unfortunately many EU politicians are hard at work making America (American elite) Great Again at the expense of their own countries. I'm not sure whether they are corrupt or just plain stupidity. 😂😂

100% EU politicians and around 80% the rest of world politicians graduated from Washington. What do you expect? Corner of the World's end like Australia and NZ, you can see all our Prime Minister moved and continue their career in USA once they finished their Washington allocated task in Australia. By the end of the day, wouldn't you make policy to suit US interest if you are offered $20mil in your US bank account + properties? Anyone will do it, after all it's only 4 years job

This is very interesting but I would add that Marx said in Capital vol 3 similar things about finance capital - it tends to suck all profit and use it to get rent on productive activities of industrial and merchant capital (and in consequence all activity of workers). Capital is revolutionizing production, but the same logic which led to that revolution in power to produce have tendency to remove itself from production in the end. If capital has to produce to multiply it does but if there is any possibility to "profit without producing" - that is where it migrates.
The obvious conclusion is that after you build industrial economy you have to either go to new barbarism of rentier economy or move to some form of socialism where resources are controlled more by needs of society than needs of increasing GDP no matter how.
It is telling that USA includes in it's GDP all shady banking assets where in reality a lot of them are costs or debt so something that should be subtracted from GDP.

this standard of governance is available nowhere else, and the major nations are hopelessly inept by comparison.
i think the early years of prc were blessed by the 'anti-communist' sanctions imposed by the west/nato. it toughened them up and forced clear-thinking. xi has inherited the most effective nation, with good national health and education, and deep popular support.

In socialism you don't move up; capital is controlled by the collective not individuals. Everyone is theoratically equal. I'm saying theoratically because there will still be difference between wealth depending on your job. But the ridiculous wealth difference you have today where some people can't eat and others have wealth that can literally end world hunger won't happen. This is actually why socialism has been met with ressistance in my opinion. I sometimes feel that ordinairy people don't even want equality, they just want to replace those who're wealthier than them.

    To state a few facts:
Capitalism and the United States WON the Cold War while the Soviet Union disintegrated under its own weight without a single shot being fired; Socialism is the obsolete ideology that failed miserably in Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Grenada, Vietnam, North Korea, East Germany, Yugoslavia, Libya, Sri Lanka, Chile, Hungary, Nicaragua, Poland, El Salvador, Mozambique, Romania, Honduras, Mongolia, Bolivia, Afghanistan, Angola, China (which has been Capitalist in everything but name since the economic reforms of 1964 by Deng Xiaoping), Russia (of course), and everywhere else it has been tried.
Capitalism continues to be the best and only option while Socialism continues to be the worst, the most failed and most lethal after having caused at least 120 million deaths in less than 90 years which would translate in more than 1 million deaths per year.
BTW, how come reds keep bitching about American "imperialism" but never mention Chinese imperialism in Vietnam or North Korea? Or Soviet imperialism in Afghanistan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, East Germany or Yugoslavia? Or Cuban imperialism in Angola, Mozambique, Grenada, Nicaragua or Venezuela? Or Yugoslav imperialism in Albania?
And let's finish with the Socialist prayer:
If it's a Socialist atrocity, it never happened
If it happened, it wasn't that bad
If it was that bad, they deserved it
If they didn't deserve it, mistakes might have been made
If mistakes were made, that wasn't real socialism.

I'm an old man. I've been hearing since my young days that capitalism is dying. And we can all find even older than me books and articles stating the same thing.
As a matter of fact, capitalism is dying since the day Marx finished his book, coincidentally.
Take it easy people. It's not dying. It'll never die, because people like to own stuff (sic).

    • @Blinky.Catttt
      @Blinky.Catttt 5 месяцев назад +1

Owning stuff and having markets and the existence of the ultra rich isn't capitalism. Fuedalism had all these things. Socialism with whatever country's characteristics has all these things.
Instead, capitalism is a social economic system that prioritizes capital above everything, above humans, above material productive forces, etc.
As an organizing principle, it has a beginning, a middle, and one day it will come to an end as human societies change and shift to deal with new things and events.
As well, when we're talking about a social system dying, the process is not going to be quick. It took feudalism some hundreds of years to die out.
Finally, just because a thing hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it won't ever happen in the future.
So yeah. I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Bla bla bla, prove that you're not a robot.
Not a very worthy try. In Greece Varoufakis didn't even get 3% to make it to the parliament. You know who got 8%? The communist party. Yanis is not a communist. He's just a joke.

Yanis, which Master do you serve ?? Therein lay's the problem of both your logic and reasoning. You cannot find the truth when you wish to serve anything other than the truth itself and you wish to serve a master who offers you that which you have not earned nor ever will have because it doesn't exist. The End.
I spent 10 years in China and I know how they treat their people and foreigners and they do so as it pleases them. In many way's China and America are opposite sides of the same coin and the world will only be served when both, along with all the other would be Hegemonistic powers are finished and removed from the game. What is needed is World government, but not by the self-serving elitist which govern or attempt to govern and control today.
Rather, the underlying belief must be simply this, which is my philosophy. " One World. One People. One Day. One. " If that day does not arrive soon, then the Human Race is doomed to self annihilation and our little spec of dust will simply become to look like another we call Mars. The End. AD.
