- the Glass Structure series is a collection of short compositions that didn't quite make it as fully-made tracks, resurrected into what will later be used as new background music. This song plays whenever our friend from the Subconscious Realm gets too stuck in her thoughts, often getting stuck in long-winded monologues of morale and balance.
if this wasn't obvious by now, i still really want to work on my personal project, but i'm not in the right headspace to do so. last thing i need is to go End of Evangelion on it.

Ahh... the dichotomy of awe and tranquility here shows that they don't have to be mutually exclusive.
The simplicity of that piano, the tasteful chord progression, and the way you use silence as its own instrument is nothing short of astounding.

I get this feeling of uncertainty from this piece. Despite it being of one of a protector. DM DOKURO, I hope everything is alright. Be sure to take care of yourself from time to time.

Always in awe of your emotional/stylistic range, this feels really impressionist-- like something a composer like Satie would do if they worked with synths. Beautiful work, looking forward to whatever you make next.
DM Dokuro's songs, especially the Glass Structure series bring extremely atmospheric, otherwordly and uncanny vibes (in a good way of course), and I love it. I personally find the Slate Blue the best Glass Structure so far

It has the same vibes as reflective and smoky but more spaced out and it’s really cool and comfortable
Legit just put this on loop when driving home at like 9 o clock at night. Not once did I ever think about switching off. The mood was perfect.
Some times I ask myself “Am I a bad person?”. I think of the ways I interact with people and the things I do to others. Do I know the reason why I do bad things For satisfaction, Anger, Sadness , Pleasure? And yet no matter how many possible answers I come up with the same answer will be “I don’t know”.
(These are just my thoughts as I’m listening to this. Also you’re great at making music that really makes you think about things)

I think this is the first time I've like.. _got_ why people rely on music to calm their anxiety. Like, something clicked for me on that front when I listened to this.
All of those glass structure songs make me think about undertale and deltarune. Its lts definitely a good thing, those games are what made me, what i am now. Glad to hear all of this ❤

Feeling like I'm looking back upon what was, the good old days, before it all became sad and complicated, where it was easy to have friends, where we didn't have an inch of sadness plague our minds, where it was fun to live, not being tortured by thoughts of doubt and demons, where we were all different then, extroverted and not trying to hide any scars or pains, just, the good old days, the feeling. Nostalgia.
Suppression, a powerful and useful but likely harmful force. It is best used when your body and mind are shattered, and you need something to cover those shattered parts. Protectors of a mind will sometimes use this to dull the pain fully for a time.

In relation to that Evangelion reference, this song makes me feel like shinji after the hospital yogurt scene. Sure, I achieved something but the cost was my santiy, dignity and self. How can I told to help the world if this is what I do to help myself

You are who you make yourself to be, no matter what. You have the right to think of yourself as anything, but remember this: others have the right to think of you however they want to. I will think of you as that one dude who made amazing music. Who, even through tough times, never stopped doing what he enjoyed. The dude who inspired hundreds, maybe thousands of people to try composing music. The one who made his calamity mod's contributions heard throughout the world. The one who shaped the very essence of it's songs and the feeling you get listening to them. The one who just can't stop making good songs. The one who can make songs of all intensity and still have them work both together and alone.
You can't convince me of anything contradicting that.
I'm thinking of donating to the calamity mod team so I can have them make an accessory that will play the music no longer used for bosses and such, even let music boxes for those songs be collected, so that you're work will forever be a part of it.
