    Let's learn how to create the perfect wet lash look.
    A lot of people think that wet lash looks are created using classic lashes since the lashes are closed. The trick is actually using handmade volume fans!
    Today's video is an extensive tutorial on how to achieve the right look. This starts with the right tools: Grippo Slim Boot is the best lash tweezer for this style. Quickie glue is perfect unless your client needs something a bit more sensitive. And last, but not least the Lost Artistry Foreplay, this product goes on your strip to assist with humidity control and fan grip.

    How many lashes per spike if you’re using 0.05 lashes?

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  3 года назад +2

      It depends on the look you’re going for. For this one I worked with 6-10 individual lashes per spike- depending on the natural lash strength of each lash I isolated ❤️

  • @crystalfb8625
    @crystalfb8625 3 года назад +2

    Do I double dip?
    Like, I grab the lashes, glue, pinch, isolate, glue and then place?

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  3 года назад +2

      Great question. No double dipping, just pick up the lashes, dip, pinch, and lay the lash. The pinching helps cure the spikes and bond them, but still means the glue is nice and tacky for adhesion to the natural lash!

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  3 года назад

      @@daisyporto1778 Foreplay is to be applied to the lashes on the strip. The liquid covers the bases of the fans, and helps control the cure time of your glue when you are battling a temperature problem in your lashing space! I would love to make a video on this great suggestion :)

  • @petrooberholster1515

    I WAS WONDERING: if combing through the lash strip with a wet wand, it somewhat forms a wet-lash-closed-‘fan’ before picking up and you can see exactly what to pick up. Will that work for this technique? (Hope you understand what im trying to explain?)

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  3 года назад +1

      I totally get what you are saying. Thats such a great question. To be honest, i've never thought of this and assume the water on the strip would cause shock curing but if you try it, please let me know if it works because I totally get what you're saying and think you may be onto something

    • @petrooberholster1515
      @petrooberholster1515 3 года назад +6

      @@LostArtistryLash i did try it today, and it worked perfectly. Though..., i have used PRIMER to comb through the lash strip. (0.03mm), but i felt that the normal wand’s spacing was too wide and formed a too heavy ‘fan’, so i used one of my old mascara brushes instead, cleansed it and it formed the spike i had in mind

    won't these fan back out after brushing them?

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  2 года назад

      Great question! The adhesive secures the base of the fan in place, so when you brush through the lashes the fan stays closed - They're super fun for adding texture 😍

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  2 года назад +1

      Yes, one dip is to create the wet lash spike, the other dip is prior to placing the wet lash! Just make sure when you create the spike you let the glue cure before dipping back into your glue then placing the spike. Hopefully this made sense!

      It is also "most likely" that a lot of viewers are not advanced, and definitely some "think" they are. But they are not. Also, most that are advanced like you say already knew how to do this look just by looking at an image of a finished wet look without the need to come here. Like you.
