This is cool, but I wanna point out that you don't need to import anything to make it available - you can drag the compendia to the hotbar to create a macro that quickly opens them if you find yourself often checking some compendium (like the bestiary ones) and there are some cool Modules out there that make accessing actors, items, or anything froma compendium even more convenient. Quick Insert is the one I personally use.
Importing all these Actors and edges causes two issues: You won't get your imported actors updated when the module is updated (the compendium one is always up to date) and loading the game will become slower (all world data is loaded by everyone connecting to the game, the compendium data is only loaded later when needed). The main advantage of importing things is that you can now customize them and a module update won't reset them - great for player characters, monsters, and homebrew tweaks!

Been using Foundry for a while, now. On the latter point it is true, however, it depends greatly how you DM, or how DM find its uses. The main reason why I would advise to actually import items, as most devs that create items/assets, including myself, we've learned to compress the actors/items to an insane level, so it is not impactful. A module with ~500 items, takes about only 7mb(at least mine does), and most connections can handle that easily, stuff like feats and edges, take even less as they come with icons within the system installation.
Another Pro to importing. Is if you have a map/creatures/items/loot already set up with items from compendiums, on an update the linkage can change and making it broken, and all the work put needs to be done again.
The only one I would advise to use on a use basis, and after being done to be dropped in compendiums, is maps, music, and journals with pictures.

once you do something like this for a savage worlds setting, can you export it to be used in multiple games?

provided you create the Compendium outside of the game world then yes.
I've been planning on doing another How do I..? video focusing on just creating a compendium. Sounds like this weekend is a good time to do it.

@LordDarque that would be good, cause I don't know what you mean. I'm a solo role-player, so it would be nice to easily deploy new games when the inspiration strikes.

@@corybanticfire ok let me ask some questions here then, because I'm a bit confused.
what do you want to export to other games?
